Chapter Ten : Friend Request

( A/N : I'll just be updating on the weekends because my exams are near and I wanna get high scores for it) 

You, Shimizu and Takeda sensei cheered for the team as they shook hands with the other. You were handing out towels when the captain of Aoba Johsai team approached you. 

' Yaho~ Chibi-chan ' he smiled teasingly. 

' Chibi-chan? Seriously?  ' you secretly thought but you smiled back to him. 

' Do you have something to say to me? If not, I'll be continuing my task ' you started to walk away from him but he shouted from behind ' Uhh..wait! I wanted to ask you something '

' Hmm? ' you turned to his direction as he walked towards you blushing.' I'm Oikawa Tooru. What's your name chibi-chan? '

' Uhh..it's Akira (y/n ) '

' Oi Great King! What do you want with our manager? ' Tanaka asked Oikawa. Nishinoya followed along with Hinata ' Yeahh what do you want? ' giving him glares.

' Don't worry I won't lay a hand on her. I just wanted to get to know her ' Oikawa giggled.

You saw Kageyama saying ' Tch ' in the corner of your eye but you weren't exactly sure.

' Why do you want to get to know her? ' Hinata asked curiously. ' Hey guys! It's time to change ' Daichi announced. The boys dragged an over curious Hinata at their feet and went to the changing room to change their clothes. 

' So are you a first-year? ' Oikawa asked. You nodded in reply. 

' I was wondering if we could be friends ' he added.

' Oh so he just wanted to be friends. It'll be nice to have a friend from other schools right? ' you thought and accepted his friend request. 

' Here, this is my number, what's yours? ' he asked giving his phone to you so you can type in your number. You took his phone and typed down your number. After that, you gave it back to him. 

' Okay~ See you later then, Chibi-chan. I'll make sure to call you ' he waved goodbye. 

' Huh? Why would he want to call me? ' 

( P.S you don't really know if he is flirting with you or not ) 

Time Skip~ 

It was time for you guys to head back to the school. Everyone started climbing onto the bus and lastly, it was your turn. The only seat available was the seat beside Kageyama so you sat down beside kageyama. 

' What was Oikawa-san talking to you about ? ' Kageyama broke the silence. ' Oh he just wanted to be my friend ' you replied but it seems everyone on the bus heard you. ' HUHHHH?! ' the whole bus turned to look at you. You were clueless 'why would they be surprised about it? It's just a friend request ' 

' Did Oikawa-san really said that? ' Kageyama asked again.

' Yes? ' you replied. 

' Does he have a crush on you y/n-chan? ' Hinata asked.

' Hinata you dumbass. SHUT UP! ' Kageyama replied his question.

' Whyy? I wanna know ' he said with puppy eyes.

' Boke! Hinata Boke! ' Kageyama started raising his voice a bit.

' I'm actually curious too ' Sugawara added. Tanaka and Nishinoya nodded in agreement. 

' Ehh you too Suga-san? ' you said. 

' He doesn't have a crush on me. He just wanted to be my friend. '  you replied. Beside you Kageyama was saying ' Tch. What a pain ' 

You and Kageyama didn't speak for some minutes and you decided to break the silence. 

' Uhh your jacket. You can have it back '  you said as you take his jacket off.

' You can keep it? ' He replied, still not looking at your eyes.

' Keep it? But it's yours ' 

' It looks better on you anyway ' he said blushing. The compliment made your heart skipped. Unfortunately, you didn't have the time to hide your face and Kageyama saw how red you are. 

' Do you have a fever? You're turning red ' Kageyama asked as he put his forehead on your forehead. Your faces are inches apart and you could feel his breath on your face, making you blush even harder.

' It's nothing. I-I don't have a fever ' you stuttered as you speak to him.

' Oh that's good. Anyway, keep the jacket ' he turned away towards the window. 

After a few seconds of silence, he started speaking again' By the way, what's the size of your jacket ? '

' My jacket? It's an M '

' Pfffttt...so that's why my jacket was too big for you. You're too short ' he started laughing and making fun of you. 

' I'm 155 cm! ' you scowled. 

' How are you 35 centimeters shorter than me and still have this much attitude  ' he laughed again. This time you decided to ignore him for the rest of the bus ride. However, he didn't give you the chance to.' It's a cute height. It suits you ' he whispered and smiled.
