she went to bed .. but couldn't sleep that night paranoid

she tried to sleep for a bit .. but kept having the same nightmare

she woke up to her alarm going off

adan: i got her don't worry i gave her bottle she really didn't want it i think she has a fever too

she nodded and sat up

adan: you ok?

maricela: im tired still im gonna shower

he walked downstairs

giovani: i do better work than any cop these idiots got the wrong house haha

adan: it was max i saw them last night i didn't see them follow though i didn't know yall had beef with them

they went there ways .. the drive there she noticed her lil girl was getting pale and breathing weird

as they got to the doctor

doctor: you said shes adopted?

she closed the room door

maricela: yes my sister was on her death bed but someone had dropped her off to her with no papers at all

doctor: well she has multiple masses and it looks like its taking a toll on her we're going to have to transfer her to a near by children's hospital

maricela: do you think its cancerous?

doctor: the tests will tell us sit tight

she nodded and hugged her babygirl as the doctor walked out letting adan in

adan: what he say?

maricela: they have to take her to a children's hospital somethings wrong the bumps are masses they can be cancerous they don't know they have to run more tests

adan sat next to her in shock ..

the ambulance took her .. the trip there she was lost in thought she didn't know what to do how to handle anything ..

as they got there they took esperanza

giovano: ay come on head up

maricela: head up .. i adopted her thinking she was healthy and ok but .. but i don't know fuck it was all so quick she was just playing and laughing and hugging me now there moving her around poking her doing tests shes scared and im scared to i don't know what to do

giovani: she'll make it threw this strong just like you've made it threw your hard times it don't matter if shes yours or not you have to stay strong and positive keep your head up for her i got you too im here for you both

she nodded as he hugged her

giovani: wheres her dad at?

maricela: i don't know somewhere and i don't care at this point i know he cares but huh

giovani: yall have changed you've matured he hasn't .. this is gonna test yall so stay straight your not alone im going nowhere he trips i got your back

they walked to esperanzas room as the nurse guided them

adan- i don't like that bodyguard he's to fucking comfortable why is he here
