maricela: yea i know the doctor misread the xrays so i got it removed

she smiled shyly

adan: that sucks and it left you bruised to

she lowered her sleeves

maricela: yea but they'll heal eventually

class went on

adan: hey you kick it alone at lunch haw?

maricela: yea most of the time

adan: why dont you come kick it with me and my homies?

maricela: no its ok im good thanks though

she side smiled at him .. he nodded

adan: well if your down just look for me ok

she nodded .. the bell ran and they went there ways

juan: go talk to her haha you keep looking her way fool

adan: we do talk but shes hella shy but cool and funny and that smile

adan: i dont know i think so

juan: look theres a kickback going on sunda for the hod invite her?

adan: as my date shit haha

he walked over to where she was sitting reading a book

adan: is that a good book?

she looked at him and laughed

maricela: haha yea it is .. but you lost? whats up?

her smile threw him off he sat down next to her

adan: uh you busy sunday?

she got nervous

maricela: going to church?

adan: church girl to dam haha and naw i mean in the afternoon there gonna be a kickback at the homies and i need a date?

maricela: cuz its me im the outcast girl that you barely know.. and you got a bunch of girls after you

she pointed at some girls that where looking there way

adan: you aint no outcast you chill funny really fucking smart and beautiful these girls aint nothin but homegirls .. i want you to be my date cuz i wanna kick it with you get to know you more

he nodded and hugged her .. she froze it scared her

she nodded .. he walked away .. her heart was pounding so fast she had butterflys but she also felt her anxiety choking her .. she feared her parents she never asked them for anything

adan: she said she would ask her parents and let me know

juan: im telling you her parents are somethin else but i hope she comes out though to kick it

the week went by she avoided asking her parents it made her nervous ..

she pulled her by her hair to the kitchen

vero: go to the store and buy these things heres a list and cash i want my change!

maricela: your letting me go?

vero: yes im to lazy to go now go!

she nodded she got her sweater and left walking .. adan saw her he ran up behind her

adan: hey you?

he hugged her .. her anxiety had calmed down he made her feel safe

adan: your out? this late haha

maricela: yea i know right haha my mom needed stuff from the corner store

he nodded and walked with her she saw as he said hi and gave the neighborhod homies a handshake

maricela: you know everyone haw?

adan: haha yea just making sales you want somethin?

maricela: im good dont worry

she walked around getting the things her mother wanted when her phone went off

vero- where are you?! dinner needs to be cooked! and the laundry needs to be folded!

she was talking so loud adan turned to her confused

maricela- its bust at the store dont worry dinners in the oven ill do laundry when i get hom

vero- you better not be spending my money bitch

she hung up .. she shook her head and put her phone away she was embarassed

adan: you ok?

she nodded

maricela: yea im ok im gonna pay and go

she felt hurt and mad so many emotions and once .. he tried to stop her

she shok her head and paid and left he ran after her

maricela: i have to go ok im sorry ill text ok

she started to cry from the frustration and anger inside her .. he got her things and put them down and hugged her

adan: chill its ok just breath

maricela: no you dont get it i have to go adan .. but .. but ill go with you sunday ok ill sneak out or something
