I've never seen love like I see right now, lighting up his whole face and eyes like I've never seen before. It shines brighter than the sun and anyone within a hundred mile radius would see it. In all the depth and despair of my soul that love eases the darkness, bringing a smile to even my face, even makes me want to cry happy tears, how girly is that shit?
"I have a son." Needles beams looking at the tiny baby in his massive arms, as if he didn't know his wife was pregnant for the last nine months, he looks to his wife, sat in a chair beside him, smiling just as bright. They both look exhausted, but they both look so happy.
"You picked a name yet?" Cordelia asks as she sits on the bed beside me. They've taken Tommy for tests or scans or something, I couldn't really focus, so Cordelia insisted I come see Molly and Needles son
"I think so." Molly smiles as she looks to Needles
"Everyone, meet William Henry Maddox." Needles smiles as his grandmother gasps beside him
"Henry, after your grandpa." She smiles "Now hand him over, he needs some Nonna lovin'!"
Needles gently lifts his son, placing him in her waiting arms
"Hello little man, I'm your Nonna, yes I am, I'm gonna spoil you rotten and let you away with murder." She coos as she softly strokes his cheek with the back of her finger.
"When are your family getting here?" She asks Molly
"They're getting the next flight." Molly explains
"Well he's all mine until they get here." Nonna replies
"You know I gave birth to him, would kinda like to hold him at some point and not just for feeding." Molly smirks, but I can see the joy in her face at the way Nonna is cuddling William
"Well, while Nonnas got our boy, come here." Needles says as he gently manoeuvres Molly onto his lap. He wraps his arms around her as he whispers in her ear, making her smile even more
"You know I can watch him for a while if you wanna get working on my second great grand baby." Nonna grins mischievously
"Nonna!" Molly laughs
"What? We agreed on six kids right?" Nonna replies as they laugh.
After leaving the new little family I make my way through the hospital back to my dad and Tommy's room, they say my dad can go home soon, but Tommy will have to stay a little longer. I don't know what's going to happen, my dad will go back to Vegas and I'm supposed to go back with him, Tommy said he would come with me, but I can't take him away from here. Here he has the family he always wanted and deserves, I'm torn between them both.
I know I can't go back to Vegas without Tommy and pretend we never happened, but I can't imagine not seeing my dad every day. I just don't know what to do.
