Percy POV
"What's up?" I asked.
Hecate frowned. "You know how you can use Egyptian words of power?" I nodded. "Well, I think that maybe it works in other languages, such as Greek or Latin. Can we try?"
I thought about it for a while, and then I said okay.
I decided to start with some water magic.
"Νερό!" I yelled. Instantly several gallons of water materialized above me and drenched me. Hecate grinned.
"So it works." She said. I smirked. "How about in other languages?"
"Σεισμό!" I said. Σεισμό is Greek for earthquake. All of a sudden, the earth started rumbling. I snapped my fingers, and the rumbling stopped.
"What about some combat magic?"
I turned towards her. "In the arena."
She drew a sword, but I didn't.
She charged at me, but I quickly yelled; "Πάγωμα!" Πάγωμα is Greek for freeze. She stood frozen in front of me. I drew Stormshaker and held it to her neck. "I believe I win." I said.
She got back up and vanished.
