Liana~

Since Luther is so opposed of our first plan, we were practically forced to go with plan B.

Hence the three of us are waiting in the car on the side of the road.

"You know, we never enjoyed it." Five speaks up.

"What?" Luther turns to him.

"The killing." Five says.

"I mean, we were.. we were good at our work, and we.. we took pride in it."

"But it never gave us pleasure."

"I think it was all those years alone." I sigh.

"Solitude can do funny things to the mind."

"Wait, but you weren't alone though." Luther says motioning to me.

"Yes, Luther, I suppose we weren't technically alone, but.. to be the only two humans left on Earth." I retort.

"It can take a toll on you."

"Hmm." He hums in understanding.

"Yeah, well, you guys were gone for such a long time."

"I only spent four years on the moon, but that was more than enough."

"It's the being alone that breaks you."

"You think they'll buy it?" He says placing a hand on the briefcase.

"Well, what I do know is that they're desperate." Five retorts.

"It's like a cop losing his gun. If the Commission finds out, they'll be in deep shit."

"Oh, and not to mention the fact that they'll be stuck here until they get it back." I cut in.

"Well, I should hold onto it." Luther states.

"Hm?" Five hums.

"In case they make a move on you guys." Luther explains.

"Okay, Luther, just.. be careful." I say.

"I mean, we've lived.. long lives, But you're still a young man. You've got your whole life ahead of you."

"Don't waste it."

I lean back into my chair and sigh.

Their car starts to pull up.

"Here we go." Five says.

We all get out.

Five and I walk towards the assassins.

"The masks really necessary?" Five says.

They both take off their masks.

"So where is it, kid?" Cha-Cha spits at him.

"Wow, that's how you're gonna start. You know, we can get right back in our car and call it a day." I retort.

"You won't even make it halfway there." She pulls out a gun and points it at us.

I'm extremely unfazed.

"Maybe. But as I'm sure you found out in your previous foray, our brother is not your average giant." Five points out.

"He's right. You dropped a chandelier on him, got right back up." Hazel recalls.

"By the time you took him out, he'd smash your precious briefcase to a pulp." I state.

"Probably us too, right?" Hazel remarks.

"So, how do we help each other?"

"I need you to get in contact with your superior so we can have a chat with her." Five says.
