We walk to Klaus' room to find him itching his body.

I look down the hall and see bloody footprints.

"You okay?" I say knocking on his open door.

"Hey. Yeah, I just.. Long night." He replies.

"More than one, from the looks of it." I chuckle slightly.

"Don't remember the dog tags." Five chimes in.

"Yeah, they belonged to a friend." Klaus retorts.

"How about that new tattoo?" I say referring to his military tattoo.

"You know, I don't totally remember even getting it." Klaus sighs.

"Like I said it was a long night."

"You did it, didn't you?" Five asks.

"What are you talking about?" Klaus responds.

"You know, we can recognize the symptoms, Klaus." Five says.

"Symptoms of what?" Klaus says.

"The jet lag. Full body itch. The headache that feels like someone shoved a box of cotton up into your nose and through your brain." I reply.

"You gonna tell us about it?"

"Your pals, when they broke into the house and they couldn't find you two, they took me hostage instead." Klaus explains.

"And in return, you stole their briefcase." Five chuckles.

"Yeah, I thought there was money in it, or I could pawn it, you know, whatever." Klaus retorts.

"And then I opened it."

"And the next thing you knew, you were.. where?" I ask.

"Or should I say when?"

"What difference does it make?" Klaus sighs.

I scoff and laugh a little.

"What diff- Uh- Okay, how long were you gone?" Five asks.

"Almost a year." Klaus says.

"A year?" I mutter in disbelief.

"Do you know what this means?"

"Yeah, I'm ten months older now." Klaus replies.

"No, this isn't any sort of joke, Klaus." Five sighs.

"Hazel and Cha-Cha will do whatever they can to get the briefcase."

"Where is it now?" I ask looking around.

"Gone. I destroyed it." Klaus replies.

"Poof."

"Of course." I scoff and mutter looking away.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Five spits at him.

"What do you care?" Klaus spits back.

"What do I care? We needed it, you moron, so we could get back. We could start over." Five clenches his jaw.

"Just.. just.." Klaus gets up and walks to the door.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"Interrogation's over, just.. leave." He says as he walks out.

I scoff and spot a piece of paper on his desk.

I grab it and start to write something down.
