I woke up to the sight of roses, the bouquet was so big it couldn't help but catch your eye
I wonder who sent them. No ones ever sent me flowers before
I got up, getting dressed for school before checking my phone to see if there was any update on Axel.

There was nothing from his mom, I just had a dozen from Maddox again Fuck sake, can't he just leave me alone? I blocked him and made my way downstairs, I was actually early today so I decided to head over to Knox's house

There was nothing from his mom, I just had a dozen from Maddox again
Fuck sake, can't he just leave me alone? I blocked him and made my way downstairs, I was actually early today so I decided to head over to Knox's house.

I said goodbye to my mom and made my way across the street, knocking on the door
A woman answered, and she was gorgeous
She had long black hair and brown eyes, her hair was the same midnight colour of Knox's
He must get his green eyes from his father though.

"Oh hello, you're Catherine's daughter aren't you?" She asked nicely, I nodded
"Yes, I was just wondering if I could wait for Knox? He's giving me a ride to school" I explained, she looked a bit surprised but opened the door nonetheless
"Of course, come in" she smiled hesitantly.

I walked in the house, and it was very nice
My house was more... traditional, hefty
This house was sleek, with stairs to my left and the living room area to my right
On the opposite wall to me were patio doors with a kitchen area just past the stairs, led by little steps

"Your home is lovely" I complimented, very... open planned
"Ah thank you, we're still unpacking little bits here and there though" she laughed, moving a box that was on the sofa so I could sit down
"I'll just go check on Knox, that boy could be late to his own funeral" she joked, walking up the stairs gracefully.

I watched as the bright red heels she wore finally vanished upstairs as I looked around
It was very... clean
There was no general family mess, like jackets or shoes thrown anywhere
The odd mug left on the coffee table
It looked pristine...
