Toen we klaar waren kregen we een wild gejoel en geklap. Ik was trots op ons alle vier. Vooral op Sidney, want door mij had ze haar plankenkoorts onder controle gekregen. Toen we klaar waren, riep Emily: "groepsknuffel" en knuffelden we elkaar. Daarna liepen we het podium af en gingen we naar mijn manager en onze ouders. Esmeralda kwam er ook bij staan en verontschuldigde zich voor de bruiloft. Sidney knikte alleen en ik pakte haar vast. Ze keek me lachend aan en ik lachte terug. Opeens zei Garrett (mijn manager) tegen Sidney: "Ik wil dat je dit contract even tekent en dan hoor je bij ons." Ze tekende snel en ze vroeg of ze covers mocht zingen in het eerste album. Garrett knikte en vroeg welke nummers ze dan wilde doen. Ze somde er vaat een paar op.

Ik vond het een leuke tracklist. Er zaten liedjes in die we in onze tijd samen geluisterd hadden. Maar ook nummers die ze gewoon leuk vond, zoals Nel mio mondo. Garrett stemde met de nummerkeuze mee en vroeg of ze morgen wilde komen opnemen. Ze knikte en lachte toen naar mij. "Nu worden we collega's." zei ze blozend. "Ik wist sowieso dat je het kon." zei ik terwijl ik haar gezicht streelde. Ze lachte en zo ging de dag verder.
