It had been weeks since Y/N had opened up to Karma, but she still kept her distance from everyone else, he was closer to her than the rest, but even after her outburst she kept him at arms length, not going beyond the necessary interactions.

"Hey, Y/N!" Sugino approached the H/C girl with a smile,

"Good morning." She didnt even look at him as she replied, brushing straight past him to sit at her desk, pull out her phone and start typing

"Hey, whats this!" Karma swiped her phone from behind her, holding it above her reach and looking at the screen, "whos the blond guy with his arm around you?"

"That, Akabane, is what you call a friend, alien as this concept may seem to you, these are people who dont refer to you as the spawn of satan unironically" he scoffed at this, whilst typing something else out on the phone, it was clearly an old picture, maybe her brother or something, but they looked nothing alike, he couldnt help but want to smash the phone against the desk, like Itona. Instead he just tossed it back to her and sat down.

"Seriously Karma? Realll mature" she groaned at him, he smirked to himself at his genius prank

"You do realise you just rickrolled like thirty professional assassins?" She asked him,

"No I didn't, you did" he couldnt help but be condescending, it was one of the many things that came naturally to him.

"Ok, um, Y/N, can you help Professor Bitch, she looked like she needed some help with out papers" Nagisa said before it all escalated. After Y/N had left the room, Nagisa told everyone his plan,

"Ok, so I think we can all agree that Y/N doesnt completely trust us, and, I've figured out why-"

"Its because shes a professional assassin and we just happen to be junior high kids she has to stick with in order to keep her cover?"

"Well, yes, but actually no," Nagisa replied, "its because she thinks that we'll leave her behind the same was her teacher did." By now they had all heard the story of the warzone, all agreeing that not all assassins had he same kind of morals as Koro-sensei and Professor Bitch did.

"So," Nagisa continued, "we set up a race, shes still not used to the territory around the woods like we are, so, we pick the most athletic person in the class, and then they challange her to a race, for like, 500 yen or something, when she thinks shes about to lose, thats when we step in, and prove that we dont leave one of our own behind!" He explained the rest of the plan, still with just as much naïve enthusiasm, planning for E class to watch her from the bushes, waiting for the right time to help her, they picked karma for the race, and all contributed to the 500, to make sure he was good for it

A/n, im sorry, i dont really know exactly how much the yen is worth, so im just kinda estimating from anime that 100 yen = 1 pound, so theyre only betting like a fiver

Some of E class had their doubts but were quickly convinced by the rest of their classmates, that the only way to win Y/Ns trust was to first decieve her, as Y/N entered the classroom again, sitting down and staring at karma suspiciously, they all had only one though on their mind

Dont worry Y/N, by the end of the day, youll trust us all.

For some reason only the Terasuka gang found this creepy, and decided to stay well away from it
