The school got suspended for the day due to the inhumane and unexpected incident that had occurred. We were all strictly asked to head home without loitering around since they were guessing it might be a cold blooded murder by a seriel killer who might be lurking around the school buildings. Who else can murder so ruthlessly?

My entire body felt rigid with goosebumps coursing through my skin as the petrifying image of him refused to leave my mind even for a second. I sucked in a breath trying to think about anything else other than that. I wanted to think about happy memories... Memories with the guys... But it felt so impossible all of a sudden. His pale look and dead eyes were haunting me like boring a heavy feeling in my chest. I wanted to scream, I wanted to run, I wanted to do something, anything to relieve me from that pain but I had no luck by my side.

Only if they would have been here by my side to comfort me... I needed them so bad.

Once I got back home, I figured my parents were still at work so I walked into my room throwing my bag on the bed and locked myself in the bathroom. Maybe a warm bath would help me feel a bit relaxed and better. I decided to prepare for the bath and let the warm water fill the tub. Stripping out of my clothes, I stepped into the water and sat back, immediately feeling a lot relaxed.

My shoulders slumped down and I closed my eyes, massaging my throbbing temples a little. It was calm, everything was still and warm. The only source of sound was the running water into the tub, and nothing else. I wish the world around me could've been as calm and comfortable as this.

Although.... My happiness was short lived.

It had probably just been ten or fifteen minutes when I heard a faint hum. It sounded distant, like it was coming from the farthest corner of my house. At that my ears perked up and I furrowed my eyebrows. Was that my phone?

No, it's like a lullaby... It can't be my phone... Without getting a second longer to think more, I felt the lights in the bathroom start to flicker. I forced my eyes open to sit up to check the malfunction. I hated being left alone in the dark, so I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.

Yet, none of that happened. My heart almost stopped beating as I took in my surroundings. Dark, filled with a smell like dampness and I wasn't in the water anymore. My eyes widened and I forgot to even let out a sound from my mouth feeling my throat running dry.

I was seated in a tub filled with dark and sticky blood, with surgical instruments swimming around me like their sharp edges can hurt me any moment. My arms, legs, torso, chest, almost my entire body apart from my face was covered in blood.

Gathering all my strength, I shot up, wanting to get away from the filthy and horrifying place as soon as possible. I grabbed my towel which was kept beside and wrapped it around my blood covered body as it sucked in the vermilion hue.

I wanted to rush out of there and just as I was about to reach the door, I slipped on the floor because of the blood sticking to my feet like red paint. I groaned in pain, as the tears stung my eyes, daring to fall down and a sudden pain started spreading across my chin. "Ah..." I gasp, at the pain. No, I had to get out of here, anyhow.

Looking around, now the walls were covered in writings written in blood, all the familiar lines of the poem "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and it clicked, the lullaby which was currently getting louder and louder was that lullaby. I was about to crawl out when the lullaby rang dangerously close to my ears to the point I felt like my eardrums would bleed. I covered my ears and clenched my eyes shut. "STOP!!!!" I screamed, feeling a very weird, terrifying and sad sensation settle in my heart.

It continued for a moment further before completely coming to a stop. The room was once again filled with nothing but the sounds of my heavy breathing as I cautiously opened my eyes, training them on the ground.
