The Fight of Their Lives

The two emblems of the fallen heroes fell from the pillar of smoke that was rising from the building where Grant and Melissa sacrificed their lives to save everyone, but most importantly their dad.

"This is all my fault." Barry said as Kara cuddled closer to him while they both craddled their babies

"Don't blame yourself Barr, Grant and Melly's wouldn't want you to." Kara whispered sadly while stroking baby Melissa's cheek, "And besides it's not like we lost them forever, we only lost them for a few years, then they'll be back with us. Both of us." Kara said sniffled leaning her head onto Barry's chest

"I know, i know, but why does it still hurt so much?" Barry asked putting his arm around her while kissing her temple

"I'm not sure, but we're not going to let their sacrifices be in vain." Kara said bobbing Melissa up and down. Kara suffered the most in that moment, she was about to lose her husband, the love hre life but instead she lost both of her children. Barry in that moment didn't want to sacrifice himself, he wanted to live for Kara and for his kids, but he didn't want it to cost Grant and Melissa's lives.

"I thought you guys might want these." Oliver said with his head down as he handed them the emblems of XS and Impulse

"Thank you Ollie." Barry said as Oliver nodded and walked over

"Do you think they're still alive?" Kara asked, "Like when you died you went to The Speedforce and got a second chance, do you think that they also got one?" Kara asked hopefully

"Kara, i know you want them to be alive, so do i, but not everything works out." Barry said as Kara sighed and nodded

"I know, even though i'm holding them i miss them so much." Kara said as tears fell from her cheeks

"I'm sorry for your loss, but the battle is not yet finished." The Moniter said blankly causing Kara to get angry which Barry noticed

"Sorry if us grieving is an inconvience for you." Kara snarled as Barry held her back with his arm.

"Kara, it's okay, you said that we need to make sure that their sacrifices weren't for nothing, we can't do that if we grieve forever, i loved them as much as you did, but this multiverse is on the brink of death and unless we do something about it then what was the point?" Barry said as Kara calmed down and nodded

"You're right Barr." Kara said nodding, "So what's next?" She asked 

"Harbinger has located the main base of The Anti Moniter. The Paragons will confront him directly whilst everyone else helps and defeats the shadow demons." The Moniter said

"Who's Harbinger?" Oliver asked as a white light appeared.

"Me." Lyla said much to everyones suprise

"Lyla?" John asked as she nodded

"I'm sorry for not telling you Johnny but when The Moniter revealed to me what would happen i had to help, for John. Jr and for you." Lyla said

"What have you found?" Barry asked cutting straight to the chase

"The Anit-Moniter resides in the Anti Multiverse, that's where we can find him." Lyla said as they all nodded.

"How do we get there?" Kara asked craddling Melissa in her arms

"That we don't know." Lyla said right before there was a rumble of thunder. Everyone looked in the direction of the thunder and a blue portal opened up and out walked The Speedforce taking form of Nora Allen.

"It's The Speedforce?" Barry asked walking closer, "Why now?" He asked confused

"We realised that The Anit-Moniter has indeed become a threat to everything in existence and we will grant you passage through to the Anti Multiverse." Nora said as the heroes nodded
