Shanté: Well then I guess we shouldn't...
I decide to just take a break from both Jonathan & Mikaela so I could gather my thoughts. I feel like it won't help but maybe it will. But the thing is that I'm taking a break from Mikaela because she betrayed my trust...but I'm taking a break from Jonathan because I'm afraid. He kissed my best friend, yes, but it's not like we're dating. *sigh* Life used to be so much easier
Mikaela's room
Mikaela: I'm sorry, Iris.
Shanté: Why'd you kiss him?
Mikaela: He kissed me. I told you he wasn't good for you.
Shanté: Yeah but you coulda easily walked away. Why'd you do it? Especially since you were dating Darius AND you knew how I felt about him.
Mikaela: ...I...
Shanté: You know what, never mind.
Mikaela: Why do you care if I kissed him? You're the one who didn't even WANT to have feelings for him.
Shanté: But you're all anti Jonathan. How come you're all of a sudden not?
Mikaela: I was never "anti Jonathan".
Shanté: You basically were. You didn't even want me being around him. Do you have feelings for him?
Mikaela: No.
Shanté: Yeah, I don't believe you.
Mikaela: Iris-
Shanté: I need a break. I needa think things through. I'll see you around. *leaves*
Instead of calling Jonathan or going to his house I want to text him. I know that if I see his face or hear his voice then I won't be able to do it & I'll back out

It's so hard with him😣 I'm tempted to text him & tell him that it's a prank....but I can't. I decide to send him the song that makes me think of him & why I say "I love you for infinity". I want him to know that just because I'm taking a break doesn't mean that I stopped loving him...I have to think of how long this break is going to be
