New Beginnings: Rhindelm

(On the Island of Hawaii, Arabella Houniki-age 23- lover of Cats- Veterinary Student. While doing her usual duties on Sunday which is filling in her Diary; she walks along the coast side and admires the fresh air after being all week stuck in her studies. She takes deep breaths of the blissful air, barefoot, in her sundress and bikini underneath. As she collects her thoughts, she hears one of her most pleasing sounds that she loves. The Meow of a cat. She follows the black cats call and finds it eventually in between the steps of the wooden stairs. The cat shuffles through the sand and then turns its gaze onto Arabella. Arabella with excitement steps closer it and leans towards it to pet it. The cat brushes against her, exposing its beautifully shinny coat. It passes between her legs and then sits in front of Arabella and stares into her eyes. As Arabella stares at the cat's eyes, she notices that its eyes are completely black like a marble. She feels that she cannot move away but at the same time she does not want too. Suddenly everything goes quiet and she feels like if her body is entering an out-of-body-experience as she feels that she is being pulled into the cat's eyes. Arabella Blinks and everything goes numb, silent, and dark. Nothing, but feels like a dark abyss. She hears mumbling after ten seconds, the voice coming clearer and clearer. She hears to voices and then sees a small white dot getting bigger...

* two voices...*

(Joss McCain, 25 year old - Anasthesiac- living in Sicily, Italy. After a long week of working on and off, he wakes up at 11:30 am. Stretches out and stands up to head to the bathroom and takes a piss, washes his hand and brushes his teeth. Gets out and looks at himself in the mirror and says " Damn... I haven't been able to train in fucking ... Forever..." He then moves onto doing pushups and ab works. After 20 minutes of training, he looks back into the mirror, seeing himself ripped and sweating. Feeling proud of himself, he flexes but notices a weird ripple behind his reflection. He looks behind himself but does not sees the mysterious image. He investigates the mirror and as he gets closer, he feels an unresisting urge too not back away. His mind puzzled. He places his hand on the mirror and then he blinks and sees the galaxy around him, he feels as his floating into nothingness. As he travels for about 10 seconds, he turns his head and sees what seem like ghostly skeletal giant hands surrounding him. He tries to wake up and scream but he can't move or hear a sound. At the hands close on him, he closes his eyes and feels numb, and hears mumbling. The mumbling gets louder and clearer.

(The mumbling voices finally come into tune; both Joss and Arabella come into the new world at the same time. As their vision clears up, they feel like they are coming out of something wet, cold and gelatinous.)

U: No ... No .. Nooo my sweet... I've told you a thousand times to NOT ... I repeat again and again. Do NOT use Necro-dimensional slip.

Now look at what you've done. - facepalms and shakes his head-

Lucy: - Laughing and giggling- Hey!! But you said practice makes perfect!

U: YES!! But not for the spell in specific darling... At times i just don't know if to love you or feed you to a Nuckus.

Lucy: - stands up- Love me like your daughter that i am - Throws a rock through his face, laughs and then meows-

(The rock passes through his face and he turns his head towards the Arabella and Joss)

U: Well... Here they come, whoever you brought from another dimension. - sighs and puts on a long smile. Standing next to Lucy. -

Lucy: Yay, new friends for when you are gone. - wags her tail and haves her ears up, holding her hands together. -

'Wait......wha.....kitty? Is that you?'

(Arabella says bleary eyed and dizzy)

(Joss wakes up and sees the new girl, the cat and the phantom)
