No Fear, Be a Patriot

13 5 2

Fear;
The name alone brings tears.
Oppressed and depressed,
That was what we were.

Remember the days of colonialism?
When bigger countries conquered,
And tortured us for their own needs?
When they destroyed our lives for their sakes?

Remember why it happened?
Remember why our lives
took a turn for the worse?
The universe is angry at our arrogance.

We're become our tormentors.
We've exploited the innocent nature around us.
How could we do this?
How could we hurt the people who can't fight back?

As today wanes on,
As we reminisce on the past heroes,
Let us not forget
How Mother Nature has saved us.

Love your home,
Love your country,
Love your family,
Love the world.

Sure we may be different,
We may not agree on some things,
But this is our home.
We need to fight for it!

Just like our ancestors,
Who worked and suffered
For our sakes,
We have to persevere.

Don't give up!
We need to give nature its independence,
To respect its role,
Before we lose all of it.
