"You're something called a Potens Siphonis." Alaric says. Everyone has been huddled up in the library for weeks, trying to figure out why I still have my powers.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"It roughly translates to powerful siphon." Alaric replies. Bonnie walks over to him, looking at the old book he has in his hands.

"It looks like there are only a few of them in the world, you being one. I don't know how, though. Your mom, my aunt, would have to be one, too, right?" Bonnie asks, looking towards Alaric.

"Well, she'd have to be a siphoner, and your father would have to be a powerful witch. Or the other way around. There's really not enough information on it for me to be accurate." Alaric explains. Everyone is huddled in the library. Except for Kai. He thought it would be best to not be near Alaric right now.

"I don't know my dad, but I think he would have to be the siphoner." I state.

"It rarely happens. A Potens Siphonis being an offspring of those two supernatural beings. So it was a rare event, I guess you would say." Bonnie explains, looking up from the book. My head is spinning.

"I'm going to have to talk to my mom. But not now. I need a few days to cool off. That's weird and almost exciting news, and it's hard to wrap my head around it." I admit, standing off of the couch.

"You probably didn't know about this sooner because Potens Siphonis' siphon without knowing it. They also keep the power longer than regular siphoners. And when you do go see your mom, I'll come with you." Bonnie states.

"Thanks." I smile.

"We'll keep looking at stuff." Damon speaks up. As I'm walking out, Caroline whispers in my ear.

"Have fun with Kai." She teases. I ignore her, rolling my eyes.

"I'll see you guys later." I state. I go into the kitchen, walking to the fridge and opening it. I'm trying to find a blood bag. But before I reach for one, I feel hands snake around my waist. I shiver as those familiar rings touch my skin.

"So, another siphoner? I was getting lonely." Kai fake pouts. I giggle and turn around to look into those gray blue eyes I love so much.

"Except I'm more powerful, so don't piss me off." I reply, making him smile.

"C'mon, let's go." He states, grabbing my hands.

"Go where?" I ask.

"I have a surprise for you," He replies. "You'll love it."

I think I just melted on the floor.

We're driving around- to some undisclosed location- as the sun is setting. It's beautiful.

"How much longer?" I ask.

"About an hour," He replies. "We'll find something to do."

He places his hand on my thigh, making me let out a small chuckle.

"That's funny. You're funny." I whisper.

"You think I'm joking? I think in a few minutes, you'll think otherwise." He whispers back. I can't even muster a reply, shaking my head and looking out the window.

But I really shouldn't have looked away.

His hand slowly moves up my thigh. I'm wearing a dress which makes this ten times more easier for him. I let out a small gasp when he squeezes my thigh. His knuckles lightly graze my heat, but he pulls his hand away, making me let out a small whine.
