The next morning...

Disha saw Lily sitting alone in the court and decided to talk to her.

"Hey Lily! You know, everything with Karan is now sorted. He called me yesterday and even apologized for his behaviour; he sounded genuine." Disha said sitting beside her.

"Wow! That's great!"

"So what are you doing here?"

"Nothing..."

"You don't have a class?"

"I have physics, I hate it."

"Don't say like that! If you pay attention in the class, you'll at least get something."

"I'm waiting for Sid...."

Disha saw Karan approaching her and exclaimed.

"Hi Karan! We're here!"

Karan saw Lily sitting with her, so he did not go there. He simply waved and went inside the school building.

"That was weird... right Lily?"

"No... You also have a class now, you should leave too."

"What about Sid then?"

"He promised me he would be here, he has his ways."

"Okay then. Bubye!" Disha exclaimed and left.

"Why didn't you join us Karan?" Disha said with a pout.

"Nothing..... I just didn't want to."

"You're weird!" Disha flicked his forehead.

"And why?"

"One day you want friends, the other you don't."

"You don't need to use your little brain." Karan flicked her back.

"How's your nose?"

"Better...."

"You look funny today."

"You look funny every day, did I ever point that out?" Karan chuckled.

"You're mean."

"You're so cute!" he replied and opened his biology book.

Disha's cheeks turned red and she looked away from him.

In the canteen...

"Damn! periodic table sucks!" said Disha opening her lunch box, taking out the sandwiches.

"Yeah.... I can't believe we have to learn it!"

"I know right!"

Disha saw Sid and Lily entering the canteen and got up waving her hand to them.

Karan turned to see who was she waving at and his eyes met with Lily's. He turned back breaking the one second eye contact. Sid waved back at her and they left the canteen.

"I can't believe this! Seriously what's wrong with them?"

"Stop making a fuss out of everything." Karan said taking a bite from her sandwich.

"I'm not making a fuss. Did you do something to them?"

"What? Do you think I'm the kind of guy who can do something to them?"
