For the first couple of months Ben hadn't cope well. He was fine now though. He didn't have another girlfriend as he was still healing. The first two months it took everything in his will to not text kayleigh but he knew that she would never forgive him.
Still every night when he gets in the empty bed he thinks about how things could have been different,how if he would have not been such a dickhead that night he would still have the woman of his dreams next to him.
As far as football went he never ended up moving to Chelsea. He stayed at Leicester because as Kayleigh said to him that night Leicester was 'his club'. It was currently the last game of the season , West Ham away.
He was sat in the dressing room doing his new pre match ritual. Before every game Ben would scroll through Kayleigh's instagram,as creepy as it sounds it made him feel like she was there with him.
