Finally, your first day was over it was long and quite frankly, uneventful. You went straight up to your room to process it all, you picked up your guitar strumming a few chords. You were exhausted, not physically but mentally. You had felt so many emotions and it had only been one day, only a few hours if you wanted to be exact.

You realized you were mindlessly playing the guitar so you stopped hurriedly, the house was small, and your family probably wanted to relax. You sighed and plugged your headphones in, you closed your eyes. You couldn't help but think about your new friends graduating, as much as they told you not to worry you couldn't help but worry.

You wanted to treasure their friendships as long as you could, and that was your goal. You went downstairs to eat your dinner, it was in a container in the fridge and you savored every bite. You were home, with your family and right now you were thankful for that. You thanked your mothers for the food and went upstairs and tonight you went to sleep peacefully.

The next morning you felt anxious, you didn't know why but you managed to get out of bed anyway. You looked yourself in the mirror, you started to get anxious so you brushed your teeth and hair while looking at the sink. Soon you were off for school, the morning air felt cold against your skin.

You drank some water to try to calm yourself down but it didn't work. Maybe you shouldn't have eaten breakfast this morning, you felt nauseous. You looked up at the sky, the sun had already risen but the sky looked pretty in the morning none the less. There were crows on a telephone wire, there were about three or four. This made you feel a little bitter, they were a happy little family of crows. You thought more about the crows even though they were out of eyesight.

Maybe those crows were like a two boats passing in the ocean though, fated to never see each other again but enjoying their company while they could. Fuck. What was with you today? You entered the school courtyard and you found Oikawa and Iwaizumi. Like Iwaizumi said Oikawa didn't have any fangirls today. You figured he was right, those fangirls hadn't seen him all summer and now and the effect of seeing him again had worn out.

You waved at them silently, you didn't feel like talking right now. You didn't want to mess up, and you were worried about your second day of school. Maybe that's why you were worried, your second day of school. Iwaizumi frowned at you, "Are you okay?"

"I'm not sure, to be honest," you admitted, you wondered why you were so comfortable with telling them how you really felt. Usually, you would go out of your way to blend in with the crowd and not stand out. Telling people what you were feeling wasn't really a good way to blend in.

"Awe, well don't be sad, we're here for you!" sung Oikawa. You didn't know why but him being positive and optimistic was just what you needed. You looked at his smile, he had a beautiful smile. You could tell he forced his smile a bit for you.

You buried your face in his arm, and cried, what was with you today? Crying in public, hugging Oikawa, telling people your feelings. You were guaranteed to catch people's attention. You hurriedly stopped, "You guys are here for me?" you blurted out.

"Of course, we're friends, and that's what friends a for." Iwaizumi smiled so you hugged him before pulling away.

"Sorry I don't know what's up with me today." You said wiping the last of your tears.

"It's fine you'll be back on your bullshit tomorrow anyways, just let yourself be off for one day." Iwaizumi stated plainly.

Before I could speak Oikawa chimed in, "Iwa-chan! We talked about this."  Iwaizumi rolled his eyes. The pretty girl from yesterday came up and jumped at Oikawa from behind.

"Hi, Oikawa-chan!" She smiled sweetly. Iwaizumi looked disgusted you wondered if she was a fan or a friend.

"Hi, Akira!" said Oikawa giving her a smile. She must be a nice person if she was so close to Oikawa.

"Hi, I'm L/n Y/n-" you were going to continue but she cut you off.

"Ya, we know," she said a little to sweelty. You decided to brush this off give her the benefit of the doubt.

"I'm going to get milk from the vending machine." Iwaizumi said and I nodded to recognize that he spoke. With Iwaizumi gone the girl, Akira and Oikawa hit it off. You tried to join in on the conversation occasionally but you couldn't seem to get a word in. You tried to like her but you just couldn't she got on your last nerve. It's like you were invisible to them. Oikawa occasionally tried to get you to join in on the conversation, but she made sure that didn't happen.

You sighed and bit your lip, maybe you were being a little dramatic, she was just a friend of Oikawa's. Iwaizumi soon came back with his milk carton even though it felt like forever. Soon the bell rang and you said goodbye to the trio to go to the class. You wondered what was up with Akira, maybe she was just really oblivious and touchy. You sighed again trying to wrap your head around what just happened. Your friend from yesterday, the girl with brown hair and a red clip in her hair was absent today.

Jeez did you already forget her name? You were such a terrible new friend. Maybe you weren't as good with names or directions as you thought you were. You tried your best to pay attention and take good notes but weren't that many notes to be taken on the second day of school.
