The last thing Wade expected for a present when his best friend, Keith, and he graduated high school was a week at Keith's grandparents' condo at the Island Tides on Buzby Beach. At least, Wade thought the week at the condo on the beach was the best thing that could have happened. Then, he met Shelby.
Shelby and her family were staying in the unit next to Wade and Keith. The first glimpse she had of Wade was when her father pulled into the parking lot and nearly ran over him getting to their parking space. What neither of them dreamed was how that near miss would turn into a summer love destined to mark both their hearts and change them forever.
Author Bio: I have been a restaurant worker, a soldier, a snowmaker, an exterminator, a college student, a CPA, a middle school teacher, and now teach fourth grade.
I am a husband of 31+ years and a father of two young men who have grown to be successes in their chosen fields of endeavor.
I am also an indie writer. I have written and self-published 8 MG/YA/NA novels including the River Dream Series and the Buzby Beach Novels.
My books are based on my experiences growing up in my favorite part of the world - Southeastern North Carolina. The people I met, friends I made, and experiences I had while coming of age at the beach help shape my characters and my stories.
