(Y/N)'s POV

"DӨП'Ƭ ᄂΣƬ IƬ GΣƬ ΛЩΛY!" a demon shouted, followed by what sounds like barking.

I ran as fast I can, ignoring the aching pain of my feet as I ran through the woods with all my strength.

'They're close...'

I gulped in fear as I continued to run. I felt my heart beating louder and louder, it was almost deafening.

As I ran through the forest, my clothes would get caught in some of the branches, leaving behind some pieces while some would give me cuts as I ran through.

'Damn it...! Now they can smell me and see my trail...'

My vision was getting blurry, but I didn't care.

All I know was that I'm going to die if I ever stopped.

I heard the barking getting close, giving me a headache.

'Stop it... Stop it...!' I screamed in my head, closing my eyes as I covered my ears.

I felt some vine or root got caught on my foot, making me lose balance and fall.

I landed on some mud and vegetation, making some of it fly out. I groaned in pain as I propped myself up.

'Get up... You need to get up..!' I forcibly opened my eyes, seeing an empty cave.

I started to crawl to the cave as fast as I can, hoping to find safety inside.

When I got inside, I let myself rest on the wall, catching my breath.

I heard footsteps getting closer, followed by growling and sniffing.

I covered my mouth and nose with my hands, controlling my breathing.

I saw the demon and its dogs by the entrance, looking around.

'Stay calm...' I thought to myself as I closed my eyes.

"DΛMП IƬ...! GӨ BΛᄃK ΛПD ᄂӨӨK ΛЯӨЦПD! IƬ ᄃӨЦᄂDП'Ƭ ΉΛVΣ GӨПΣ FΛЯ! ᄂΣЦVIƧ IƧ GӨIПG ƬӨ KIᄂᄂ MΣ..." the dogs started to go back, followed by the demon.

When I couldn't hear them anymore, I let my hands go and breathed out.

I felt my body shut down, making me see spots of black.

"DID YӨЦ ΉΣΛЯ ƬΉΛƬ?" a voice echoed inside the cave.

'Shit... Shit... Shit...!' I cursed as I tried to wake myself up.

I could hear footsteps echo in the cave as it got closer.

As my eyes started to close, the last thing I saw was light and two shadows.

"ЩΣ ᄃΛП'Ƭ ᄂΣƬ IƬ ƧƬΛY!"

"ЩΣ ᄃΛП'Ƭ ᄂΣƬ IƬ GӨ ӨЦƬƧIDΣ. IƬ'ᄂᄂ DIΣ!"
