Adira

Adira opened her eyes to pitch black. If she wouldn't still be holding on to Cassie and Adrian, she would have majorly panicked. Why was it so dark? Silence surrounded them all. It was creepy.

She spoke up after a minute, "Are we still teleporting or ...?"

Amricus chuckled. "I forgot that mortals cannot see in the dark. Forgive me." Adira didn't hear him move, but soon her eyes were blinded by the light.

Blinking rapidly to get used to it, Adira stepped back dropping Adrian and Cassie's hands. She gasped as she took in the room. It was gorgeous! They were in a meeting room of sorts. At one end of the room, an enormous chandelier hung from the low ceiling, illuminating the mahogany table. A presentation stand stood near the wall.

Adira turned to see the remaining room, stepping back in surprise as she noticed the woman on the far end of it

Adira turned to see the remaining room, stepping back in surprise as she noticed the woman on the far end of it. This end of the room reminded Adira of old palace decor. It also held a mahogany table but it was tastefully decorated with a small chandelier instead. Various other knick-knacks stood proudly on the shelves giving the room personality. She fell in love with the small care for details in the room. It was a welcome break from the other end which seemed to scream pure business. She noticed that the room could be separated in the middle to create two distinct places. The entire room had doors on both ends.

But the room itself paled in front of the woman who stood near the table

But the room itself paled in front of the woman who stood near the table. Unnervingly tall and stately, she wore a white dress with a wispy skirt. Her jaw was angular, almost sharp to a fault, but her eyes were soft and welcoming. She looked weary and tired, almost exhausted from existing for millennia.  Her blonde hair hung magnificently down her shoulders. Her irises were tinged with gold making her a Lycan. Her aura, though welcoming, was terrifying. Atop her head, a single tiara shone in the night. Her lips curved in a smile.

Adira realized suddenly that all the wolves in the room had dropped to a knee facing the lady. She wondered if she should follow suit considering she was of a different species. Her hesitance must have shown, because the woman laughed, clear and ringing.

"Stand up, children. There is no need to bow. I am Kaifa, the Alpha Optimus. I believe you have already met my love, Amricus. Two of my elders, you have known since you were children. The rest of them will remain unknown to you until there is a need for visibility. Now, which one of you is Amor?"
