Kabanata 4 : Smooth Ride

"Why do you have the answer sheets?" Mahinahong tanong ni Ms. Warez sa'min.

"Ma'am, it's not us." Marcus said as he started to explain things to Ms. Warez.

"How can you prove that you didn't took the answer sheets here in the facult?" Natahimik siya kaya ako naman ang sumubok na magpaliwanag.

"Ma'am, I saw the paper on Larry's seat that time and I took a glance on Marcus if he saw it too. Kaya naman po nagulat ako nang nasa gilid na ng aking upuan ang papel na iyon." Mataman kaming tinignan ni Ma'am na tila tinitimbang kung nagsasabi ba kami ng totoo.

"I'll think about this but you should give me a proof on how they got the answer sheets if not, tell your parents to come here tomorrow." Ms. Warez sighed before looking at us.

"Go back to your room. You are now dismissed, Ms. Fabrenas is outside the campus for some matters, your exam on biology would be tomorrow." Kung hindi pa tinapik ni Marcus ang balikat ko ay hindi pa ako aalis sa kinatatayuan ko.

"We need evidence. We need to know how they got the answer sheets!" I spat out when we got out of the faculty room.

"I can't bring my mom here tomorrow, she's busy." He told me and I bobbed my head.

"Me too,"

"But how the hell did they got the answer sheets?" I asked him but he seems like he is in deep thoughts.

I just shrugged myself out before leaving him ang going to the restroom.

Sakit naman sa ulo nito. Why do I have to be in a situation like this?

Exams should be over today! This is so frustrating!

Napaisip ako kung paano nila nakuha ang answer sheets sa faculty room. Did they broke in the school at night? Sa subject lang ba ni Ma'am Warez nila ginagawa iyon?

They're making a fool out of themselves instead of studying they do shortcuts. Would they learn something if they do that always?

I went back to the room to see a commotion. I saw Marcus holding Larry's collar. Tumakbo ako at hinila siya. He's making things worst!

"What are you doing?" I sneered at him. The veins on his hands are so visible, namumula rin ang kaniyang kamao at namumula ang gilid ng labi ni Larry.

I saw how Marcus' jaw was clenched and his cheeks were a bit red turning violet. Nagsapakan nga ata sila.

Padarag niyang binitawan si Larry at nagpatianod sa paghila ko sa kaniya. I pulled him into the library.

"Bakit mo ginawa 'yon?" Itinulak ko siya sa mga bookshelves para hindi kami makita nung librarian.

"He pissed me off, wait 'til-" I shot him a glare that made his brows furrowed. He closed our distance making me lean on the bookshelves trapped between his arms.

"I know how they got it." He said looking straight in to my eyes. I raised my hand and tapped the violet part of his cheek.

"You've shouldn't done that. See?" Napangiwi siya nang hawakan ko ang pasa niya kaya wala siyang nagawa kun'di lumayo nang bahagya sa akin.

"How did they got the answer sheets?" I whispered but my eyes went back to his cheeks. Kailangan malagyan ng compress iyan para hindi lumala.
