Once in our lives, we would think that the universe may have found a way for us to meet the person that can change our perspectives in life.
That someone that will make our hearts flutter in crazy frequencies and in lovely rhythms;
That someone that will truly accept our flaws and the secrets we try to hide lurking behind our indefinite past;
and that someone who will surely be running towards us when the world seems to let us crumble in the situations we currently have.
The universe may have adored people by fate, as they are bound to be with each other. But the forces are against me, and from the beginning I have always known it. I have known that the stars had always looked down on me with disdain and that it never bothered to give me a glimpse of how love and fate worked before.
But then once, I thought, maybe I had won. That maybe this time, the universe gave me someone I could lean on to forever. That maybe this time, the universe had let me have this one in this lifetime.
That maybe Bright is the reason I could let my guard down and believe that I deserve this love I had always given to other people but never received it in return.
I still believe in the idea of one true love, and it could be someone you'll necessarily never end up with. And maybe in this lifetime,
I have found him.
