"For your first task, we want you to trespass her office..."

I was right.

"And steal that document."

Steal. That. Document.

"KIM SEOK JIN!"

I gasped, raising my head to see Namjoon looking at me like I had just lost my mind.

"W-what?"

"What?" Namjoon frowned. "Yah, I've been calling you so many times! Are you done?"

"Huh?"

"Are you done with the attendance?"

Attendance?

I looked down on my desk to see the attendance sheet. It took me a few seconds to remember if I had called out everyone's name.

"Yah? Are you alright? You seem so out of it!"

"Huh?"

"See, I've never seen you acting this blur before." Namjoon frowned harder, his expression dropping. "Give it to me, I got a club meeting after this and I don't want to miss lunch! Let me submit that now."

"Now?" I blurted.

"Yeah, now?" Namjoon sighed. "School's over, Jin-ssi!"

His statement made me raise my brows, finally turning around to see my classmates walking out of the classroom. Even Moon Byul was gone from her seat.

Namjoon sighed again, and took the attendance list from me.

"First, a juvenile girl stole my seat. Next, you're acting too strange to ignore. Is something bugging you?"

I found myself staring at him, unable to really respond at all.

How could I possibly explain to him that I am going to be stealing from the school property?

"I'm alright... just a little tired." I flashed him a thin smile and slowly standing up. "Let's go for lunch then, before you for that club meeting. Which club is it again?"

"Archery." Namjoon looked at me suspiciously for one moment, but soon he just shook his head. "Nah, I have to submit this first." He lifted the attendance sheet. "I hate this new attendance system, ugh. How about you go eat with that juvenile girl? She seems to fancy you a lot."

"Moon Byul?" I raised a brow.

Namjoon smirked. "Ommo, what's with the strange nickname? You sound so close to her already."

"Ah." I blinked, realizing that only the five of us and that creepy voice recognises her as Moon Byul. Other classmates call her the juvenile girl, so far. I'm not sure if they don't remember her name, or if they're just too scared to say it. She is from juvenile, and that's a rare thing.

And suddenly, I started to wonder.

The boarding school has a great reputation, like a really great one. Our school is named Soar High, and people outside see it as a chic and modern high school as we have all kinds of subjects based on different class divisions. Pure science, information and technology, media and performing arts, you name it. One stream is limited to one class, so every class has slightly different curriculum compared to others. Students that are accepted here must be decent in terms of discipline, at least- if not decent academic qualifications. Thankfully, we're not one of those competitive high schools with nerdy students fighting for that perfect 4.0 until we aren't given the freedom to have fun.
