Chapter 28 | Pain To Those Eyes

One week.

There’s only one week left before we leave Earth, for good… and I still don’t know what my plans are with Warner.

He’s been really busy because he’s fixing his adoptive father’s return party but since he always finds a way to drag me with him, araw-araw kami magkasama, kahit weekends, kaya imbes mag-isip ng gagawin ay sakanya lang ako naka-focus palagi!

“You can’t just end it so suddenly, you guys look too sweet.” Iling ni Hera habang nagswa-swipe sa human phone at tinitignan ang pictures namin ni Warner.

It’s a good thing it’s a weekend kaya ay nandito sila nila Xavier. I can ask Sara and Hera for advices, ayoko kay Xavier at Cyran dahil wala naman silang matinong nasasabi!

Tinakip ko ang unan sa mukha. “I don’t even want to end it,” I whined.

This thing with Warner, it’s different, a lot different compared to my exes! It’s like… I know him and he knows me. Hindi ko pa kahit kelan naranasan ang ganitong feeling kay Kleide… 

I don’t want to lose it immediately… 

Parehas kaming napatalon ni Hera sa kama nang kumalabog ang pagbukas ng pinto at nandoon si Sara na proud na nakatayo. “I just solved your problem,”

My forehead knotted, “Ha?”

“I sent a message to Warner, asking him if he’s willing to have a triple date.”

My mouth fell open in awe. “You… you… wait… you did what?” Tanong ko kay Sara. “Paano n’yan masosolve ang problem ko? And what triple date?”

“Triple date. Me and Cyran, Hera and Xavier, then Warner and you.” Sara giggled and then jumped off to my bed, sumisiksik sa’min ni Hera.

“Pa’no makaka-help yun sa decision ni Pau?” Hera asked confusedly, still swiping and looking at pictures.

“Sabi ni Pau, ayaw niya tapusin ang kung anong meron sakanila ni Warner, but she’s worried he might find out that we’re different and then acts like a douche like her father. So,” Sara gave me a smile. “We’re going to test how much ‘different’ or weirdness Warner can take

“Oh and ang main purpose pala ng triple date ay para makagala kami.” Tawa ni Sara.

Umiling-iling ako. “I still don’t see your point Sara!”

“I don’t see Cyran’s point either.”

“Si Cyran nag-isip nyan?” Hera asked.

“No, ako nag-isip ng triple date, pero si Cyran nagsabi nung logic behind. I don't get it, though."

I squint my eyes at Sara. “Anong sabi sa’yo ni Cy?” 

Sara gave me a sweet smile. “No kids allowed.” At binelatan niya ako! Sino ang bata sa’min kung gan’on! 

“Just trust Cyran and my plans, Pau; magaling yun sa psychology shits e.” Sara laughed.

Wala na akong ibang nagawa kundi sumunod na lang at hintayin kung ano mang plano ang meron sila. I can still back out but then Warner already agreed to that stupid triple date plan of Sara—or Cyran, whatever.

Kinabukasan ay maaga kaming nag-ayos nila Hera. 

Hera wore a flowing white floral sleeveless dress that matched her brown hair and fair skin. Sara was too extra and wore a really huge sun hat, a white top, and a flowing black trouser while I just wore a fitted maroon floral top that reaches just above my belly and its partner shorts.
