I kept my eyes closed as I tried to feel all the magnetic fields around me. The protons, electrons, neutrons, their charges... ah it feels so nice to be able to use my magnokinesis ability again. Being able to feel every single charge around me, including metal and every organic matter...

"What the hell are you doing?" Napadilat ako at nakita si Raine na nakatayo sa may pintuan. Her face was distorted, a hint of unbelief is shown.

"Practicing my ability?" patanong kong sagot.

"Tanggalin mo na ang magnetic field, Pauline."

Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Why? I'm bored. Wala akong ibang magawa rito. You told me not to go to work nor write to anyone back in Bleanriths," I answered sarcastically before I closed my eyes again.

Naiinis ako kay Raine.

Nasa bahay ako ngayon dahil hindi niya ako pinayagan pumasok sa trabaho, dahil nga sa nangyari kahapon. Hell, that's an amazing news to me because I won't see Warner but I'm getting bored.

At ayaw niya ko pasulatin ng lettrae kay Mommy at sa friends ko!

"Earth is not a place for you to practice your abilities!" she impatiently said. "And besides, I have someone who wants to talk to you."

Napadilat ulit ako.

Baka si Mommy?

I was disappointed when I saw an old man standing beside her. He has rounded glasses on and a lot of gray hair at the top of his head. Nginitian niya ako at nagbigay sa 'kin ng maliit na wave ng kamay.

I immediately stopped the magnetic field flowing around me visibly, because I know that man.

Humarap si Raine sa matanda. "Ikaw na ang bahala sa kanya, sir." Then she left after she gave me a look of disapproval.

I wanted to roll my eyes but stopped myself. Kung wala lang ang matandang ito na nandito ay kanina ko pa inirapan si Raine. She was acting like she's my sister or something.

"I know why you're here." I stared at the man stoically.

Ngumiti siya sa'kin at inayos ang kanyang salamin bago naglakad papasok sa kwarto. "Then, you have quite the memory, too, huh? Palagi mo na lang ako sinosorpresa sa mga kakayahan mo."

I did not move an inch or reply back. As I said, I know that man; I know why he's here.

*Four weeks ago*

Settings: Bleanriths University Evaluation Room

Napatingin ako sa clock na nasa harapan ko. It's been an hour since Xavier entered that room and he's still not out.

Ang alam ko ay nagtatagal talaga lahat ng ganitong evaluation. I've heard it from former graduates of Bleanriths University, sabi nila ay magandang practice daw ito ng Uni dahil na-che-check nito ang mental health ng bawat student.

"Zunino, Pauline Cynthia L.," tawag ni Mrs. Hudson habang nakakunot ang noo, bago nag-angat ng tingin galing sa holotab na hawak niya. "It's your turn, dear." Ngiti niya sa'kin.

I smiled back at her awkwardly as I sighed heavily. Nakasalubong ko si Xavier bago ako pumasok sa Evaluation Room, sumaludo siya sa'kin at ngumisi na sinuklian ko rin ng ngisi pabalik.

When I entered the room, I immediately recognized the man sitting on a swivel chair at the center of the clear, white room.

Isa siya sa mga kaibigang psychiatrist ni Mommy. I've seen him on some gatherings and parties and to my knowledge, he's a famous one.
