I swear, I am so gonna call a doctor after this. I will make them check if Sasuke’s hearing is still good. I mean, I’ve been standing here infront of him, inside his office, for who knows how long. I’m actually starting to think that he’s ignoring me since he knows that I have feelings for him. But hey, that’s below the belt. Things change and he has no right to tell himself that I still like him. That was long ago.

He was reading through his files, and then furthermore, he would look at his laptop like he’s waiting for someone’s reply. Email, maybe? Heck I care. Business is written all over this place. I continued to stare at him. He still has those emotionless and dull black eyes, his raven hair that looks like a freaking duck’s ass, fair skin, great features, straight face, and boring attitude.

He looks so professional and sophisticated. In this state, there’s no chance for him to love me back. What’s the point to beg for his love when I see that he is so far away from me now? He’s a business man. Rich kid. And I’m nothing but a girl who finished Business Ad yet has not found a job. Tsk, I’m overthinking this! Erase, erase! I’m only going to waste my precious brain cells if I keep thinking about him.

Looking at him freely would be great but I’m here for only one thing and that’s to get the job as his secretary. I know that I want to erase my feelings for him, but opportunity awaits. In order to live, I need to work for money. Money can make different things... whether it is good or bad, because money is powerful.

Breaking the awkward and unawareness atmosphere of his, I spoke again, “Mr. Uchiha, I’m here for a job,” I said. “The staff said that you were available so I guess I can—”

I stopped when our eyes met. Those dull, bored, black eyes, they’re hypnotizing. They’re actually beautiful. And looking at him already, what a sight, right?

But I shook it off. I blinked and continued, “...I guess I can talk to you.” I continued out of track. He stopped reading his notes, files, and shut down his laptop from his desk. He looked at me, still calm and collected. He’s the type of guy who is very calm, equal, and balanced. This is one of the reasons why he is found as an intimidating person. His eyes are always so dark, and it looks like he can rip someone’s face when he pierces his eyes on you. Even with that description, I managed to fall for him up to grade school ‘till college.

Speaking of High school, my feelings for him grew when we were in that level. We were sixteen, and we were in the same section. He’s very intelligent, and never have I heard him say long sentences. I mean, he barely speaks. Although his voice is sexy and hot, he usually answer us with a nod, shrug, or short sentences.

And speaking of College, we both took ‘Business Administration’ since our families both own a company. But our company—The Haruno Industries, has lost it’s balance ‘till it fell out of our hands. The money in our business was transported to us, as we lost our company. Yet we needed to share the money to the share holders, so right now, (like I said) my father is currently working at America to earn money and retrieve or make our company again.

Now, I’m twenty and I haven’t even met my Prince Charming yet.

Ehhh, I’m still young, so I guess that’s fine!

“I think this interview can start if you sit down.” surprise, surprise! He talked! Wow, moments of not seeing and hearing his voice has actually hit me. Ha-ha.

I did what I was told. I sat down on the chair in front of his desk as he folded his hands. That must be an Uchiha mannerism, because Itachi often does that, too! I guess?

“I haven’t seen you in a while, Haruno.” he said.

Haruno... that’s what you always call me. I guess he is the only person who calls me by my last name. How stupid, how jerky.

When I celebrated my sweet sixteenth birthday, that day was near the day we graduated. That’s why I went to college when I was sixteen too, and I graduated at eighteen but the day after the graduation, I celebrated my birthday, so I was nineteen.

We haven’t connected for at most two years. Last year, and this year. This year is going to end soon, that’s why it’s two years at most. I also haven’t seen Naruto Uzumaki, his best friend, and one of my suitors when I was in High school until College.

“Uh-huh. Well,” I said, changing the subject, “Ask me things. I wanna get this job.”

He just smirked and took a paper. I guess that’s a question paper to interview someone who is asking for a job. He asked me, “Name?”

Yes, that was a stupid question since he knows my name but I tend to just go-with-the-flow since this is work so I must respect the questions, and must respect this future boss of mine.

“Sakura Haruno.”

He wrote my answer on another piece of paper and continued, “Age?”

“Twenty.”

“Previous work?”

“Assistant or call it as a secretary as well.”

“Where did you work?”

“Itachi’s Uchiha Corp., your brother’s company.”

He paused. He wrote what I answered and then nodded, “Parents?”

“Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno.”

“Occupation of mother?”

“Housewife.”

“I see.” he nods, “Occupation of father?”

“Employee at Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha’s Corporation.”

“What school did you go to at High School?”

I sighed, and rolled my eyes. He knows the answer, goddamn it. “Konohagakure High.”

“College?”

Tsk. “Senju Academy.”

Senju Academy, a great school owned by the boyfriend of Tsunade Senju (principal of Konoha High), known as Dan. He named his school the last name of his girlfriend. That school focuses more on the College department, that’s why me and Sasuke went there.

“Why do you wanna apply?” this is the last question, I guess.

“First, I want a new job to live. Second, I believe that even if this Uchiha Corporation’s only new here at Japan, it has a high potential to be famous like Itachi’s administration—”

He smirked, “But doesn’t it bother you that I’m your boss?”

I frowned. “—Third, I am no longer in love with you, Sasuke Uchiha.”

Now, it’s my turn to smirk. Hah! This guy! Whooo, his face is as thick as a dictionary to have the guts to say that to meeee! TAKE THAT!

“Let me finish first. That’s a cheap shot.” I added to piss him off moreover.

His smirk faded, and he became serious again. WAIT! Did that affect my chances to be hired?! Hope not! NOOOOO!! My palms started to get sweaty and I gulped. I hope Sasuke did not take that too seriously.

But then, unexpectedly, he said those words that I didn’t expect him to say...

“You’re hired. Start tomorrow.”

Oh well, expect the unexpected.
