"You look much better, Sakura."

The pink headed woman didn't know if she should take that as a compliment. She cared less, though, so instead of trying to reply and prolong their conversation, she shut her mouth and proceeded to iron her clothes.

"We'll get lunch in a few minutes. I'll leave you here." Mebuki added, sending the younger female a smile before turning her heel and heading downstairs.

It's true that Sakura indeed looked much better in comparison to her image the previous weeks. She regained her natural pink lips and finally stopped crying and locking her bedroom door. The pinkette herself did not know what happened too but she just felt tired and fed up that she actually mustered her courage to go out for a jog one morning. It's been approximately a week since the ruckus happened; it was a stressful time for her but she somehow managed to push herself and continue to face whatever life has to offer.

Of course, the pinkette is still suffering from depression. Just probably not the worst case but she still feels lonely from time to time--especially when it's dinner time and her parents carelessly speak about her marriage arrangements with a certain sun-kissed Uzumaki.

However, everything is slowly assembling in her head. She didn't know if it was out of tiredness or becauae she was out of choices, but one day she just accepted her messed up fate with open arms. She couldn't change the circumstance and finally, it occured to her that no matter how long she cries or complains, in the end she'll still end up with Naruto.

There was no room for Sasuke Uchiha in her life, even in the beginning. He seems like the type of person who comes to somebody's life and disappears whenever he likes to.

When she finished her task, Sakura brought the silky dress to the cabinet and hung it with a hanger to keep it neat and free from creases.

At lunch, Sakura obediently joined her parents at the table. Honestly, she changed, not much but the positive Sakura turned into an awfully quiet one.

"Eat up!" Mebuki exclaimed, smiling brightly.

Sakura took some rice and sushi in silence. Her parents were already discussing some new events that occured to their friends while the youngest in the family remained wordless. She didn't plan to speak up until Mebuki shifted the subject and called her name.

"Sakura, have you heard? Your cousin Misaki is planning to get married, too." The woman grinned, showcasing her white teeth. "Isn't that great?"

Sakura recalled who the person was and nodded, "That's nice. I'm happy for her."

"Yup! I heard she's marrying Shin, her boyfriend for three years. Sweet, isn't it?" She chuckled. "Don't worry though, you'll marry soon, too."

Misaki wasn't actually Sakura's "cousin", she was actually the daughter of Mebuki's high school bestfriend. They weren't really close but Mebuki and Misaki's mother thought so and they insisted referring the two as "cousins."

Frankly, Sakura had no good memory with Misaki; she was the usual two-faced bitch who liked fame and popularity. She was in an average family and Sakura disliked her, obviously. But for once in her life, she felt envious of the girl. What was there to envy? Well, her freedom--she may be born into an ordinary family but she doesn't have to go through all the fixed marriages and the like. Her life was peaceful.
