Wren is a seventeen year old girl who does what she needs to do to survive. She was born a year before the apocalypse. Wren has two sisters who care of her, teaching the young child to fight, hunt, and survive.

People with weapons and Aaron led us to the voting house. Aaron said that we would be voted on by the "council." I guess they have a government like thing here, it makes sense.
I walked next to Aaron, listening to the crazy stories of Alexandria. When we reached a building. "Here it is. Go in and choose a spot at the front."
We all walked in slowly. People of Alexandria sat in the benches, Judith also sat in the benches. She smiled at me, I gave one back. We reached the back of the building where the council sat. "Please choose a spot and stand. My names Father Gabriel, this is the council. Michonne is the leader of Alexandria." Gabriel ordered and introduced everyone to us.
The order went, Luke, Magna, Me, Kelly, then Connie. (From left to right if you are facing the desk of the council) Yumiko is still resting. I stood next to Kelly just in case I couldn't hear what people said, and just in case she couldn't hear what they said.
"As you can probably tell by our turnout, it's been a while sense we've had new faces in the walls." Gabriel told us. I nodded my head respectively. I looked over at Connie and Kelly. "He said that they haven't had many new people in a while." Kelly signed to Connie.
"We are a fair community with, fair minds. We are not soft. And that's not gonna change today." Gabriel is basically telling us that there is barely a chance of us staying here.
"So let's begin." He smiled kindly, "which one of you is the leader?" I looked to Magna, everyone else did the same. I guess we never decided who's the leader. But if I were to choose, it would be Magna. "What makes you think we have one?" Magna snarled out, I grabbed her hand and squeezed, "please be nice." Michonne glared at me holding her hand, so I let go.
"Did you know each other before?" Gabriel asked. This time Luke took over, so Magna wouldn't ruin our chance by her nasty attitude. "No. It was Magna and Yumiko first," He pointed to his head and continued, "and then Connie, Kelly and Wren," he pointed to us smiling, I nodded my head in approval. "Then it was Me and bern-" he pointed behind him when he was about to say Bernie. I dropped my head down, Magna stayed still like a statue. Michonne watched everyone's movements closely. Like she was judging artwork. Luke broke and he kept taking breaths to calm down and not cry. Kelly almost cried but Connie and I helped her. "Sorry. We-uh lost Bernie the other day." Luke shifted from foot to foot trying not to cry. "There were others, of course." He took another large breath in, "but just like Bernie, they didn't make it." The council nodded understandably, because they've lost people too. Everyone has.
Aaron spoke up, nodding his head. "Who were you before?"
It went down the line, "me? I was a music teacher." Luke told them. Magna was next, "waited tables at a truck stop." Then my turn, "I-uh was only one years old. For me there wasn't much of a before." Gabriel nodded, Aaron looked a little surprised I don't know why. Then my sisters, Connie decided to go first she spoke with her hands. Nobody understood except us five. "She said she was a journalist." Kelly spoke up letting out a laugh, "but she's just being modest. She put a bunch of sleezball politicians and put them behind bars." I let out a airy laugh and nodded my head. I've heard that story a lot, Kelly loved what Connie did before all this.
