Chapter 38 - Fitz

For anyone who doesn't understand, this is Fitz's dream while he is in his little coma set by Project Alicorn.

I opened my eyes to be in my bed.  The air smelled sweeter than it usually was and there was someone sitting at my bedside.  I saw a blonde figure sitting with her back towards me and I immediately jolted upward.  The figure turned and I saw brown eyes lit up.

"Fitz!  You're awake!" Sophie said, leaning over to kiss me.  I jolted backwards and she looked at me, confused.

"You're working for the Black Swan!" I accused.  Her eyes widened.

"The rebel group?!  Why would I be working for them?!" she exclaimed.  I grabbed her and turned us around so I was on top and yanked down the sleeve of the dress she was wearing.  There was no sign on her shoulder.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"Fitz!" she exclaimed, blushing as she yanked her sleeve back on.  She flushed red and shoved me off of her.  "I understand you love me and I love you too, but that is not appropriate!" she flushed.  I stared at her shocked and she looked back at me confused.

"When did I get knocked out?" I asked. 

"You were attacked in the forest while you were out looking for the Black Swan.  Don't worry though.  Your Guards caught them when they were distracted with you." she said, getting up.  Her face was still flushed and she was not sitting as close to me as she was before.

"Where's my dad?  Why did you come here if he doesn't want us in a relationship?" I asked.  Sophie frowned.

"King Alden is perfectly fine with us together.  He was actually very happy when we got together.  Fitz, are you sure you're okay?" she asked, pulling out an eyelash.

"Where's Clarity?" I blurted out.  Her frown deepened.

"Who's Clarity?  Are you seeing someone behind my back?" she demanded. 

What is this world...  Everything is going the way I want...

"Who's Clarity?!" Sophie demanded.  She looked upset, even though her face was still flushed.

"No one sweetheart." I said quickly.  I pulled her into my arms, even though she was still upset.  I looked at her flushed face.  I really missed her.  I closed the gap between us and she immediately responded.  When I pulled away, I heard clapping.  I turned to see Biana smirking.

"Love birds.  Come on brother.  Elwin needs to check on you.  Then you guys can have as much fun together as you want." she said casually.  Usually Sophie would attack her for saying something like this, but she just blushed.

Strange...

Biana called me brother...

Biana: W-what?!  I've called you brother before!!!!!

Fitz: Sure sister.

Biana: You're dead!!!

~Time Skip~

I finally have caught up with Sophie.  Everything that I remember apparently was a lie.  Sophie and I have been together since I confessed.  Everything is going the way I like...  Alvar never tried to make a move on Sophie...  Biana is with Keefe and they are very much in love.  Dad is very supportive of me and Sophie. 

Right now, Sophie and I were relaxing on a couch.

Fitz: Please don't ask me where...  There's more than thirty couches in the Palace.

Sophie: THAT I can justify.

Author: Um...  I wasn't going to ask you anyways...

"So...  What happened while I was unconscious?" I asked.  Sophie looked up at me, frowning.
