I woke up, realizing that it was date day. That sounded weird... I scrambled through my closet, trying to find casual clothes. What could I wear that would not make me look so formal? Not stupid? Will Sophie like it? I ended up borrowing some of Keefe's clothes which, thankfully, fit me pretty well.

Without the drink of course - > - (I just realized how big the picture is... O.O)

I quickly fixed my hair and ran to Biana's room.

"Hey Biana!" I yelled, rapping on her door.

"What do you want?" she yelled from behind her door.

"You know I'm freaking out right now! Help me get to Flowermelle and set up everything!" I said, frantic. Biana slammed the door into my face. I stumbled backward and fell onto the floor, holding my face.

"I almost forgot!" Biana yelped. She closed her door behind her and said, "By the way, I'm gonna watch you guys from a distance." she said, smirking. Her eyes shone so I decided not to fight her.

"COME ON! Let's go!" she yelled, dragging me away

"COME ON! Let's go!" she yelled, dragging me away.

"Slow down!" I yelped. I couldn't see where we were going and when Biana stopped abruptly, I slammed right into her. This caused her to fall into Keefe's arms.

"Woah! You okay there?" Keefe asked. I nodded before I realized that he was asking Biana. I smirked and watched the love birds.

"Y-yeah! Sorry!" Biana stuttered.

"What are you guys doing anyway, bustling around like this?" he asked, arching his eyebrows.

"Fitz has a date with Sophie!" Biana squealed. Keefe's eyes dimmed for a split second but then filled with brightness again.

"Really?!" Keefe asked. "I'm helping!" he said. I rolled my eyes.

"As long as you don't try to prank us." I said. He nodded, smirking.

"Let's go then! We have to eat breakfast and go over to the place to set up!" Biana squealed, dragging us both to the Dining Area. As we sat down, Keefe bombarded me with questions.

"How did you get her to agree? Where is it? What kind of date is this? Are you nervous?" and so on. We talked for a bit as dad and mom came in.

"You guys are really excited today!" mom said, laughing.

"Yeah, what's so exciting?" dad asked, arching his eyebrows and glaring at me. I winced, remembering what happened yesterday. After Biana left, dad said I had no right to even try to see other girls. He'll be choosing my bride that will be powerful and useful for the kingdom. Biana saw my face and sighed.

"Dad, Fitz is just hanging out with Sophie. Isn't that okay? For them to get along before they become Cognates?" Biana said. I smiled at her, thankful. He narrowed his eyes at me and Biana before mom piped in.

"Dear, I think it's a splendid idea. Besides, Cognates have to know each to the point of no secrets. And Sophie is a very smart and powerful elf." mom said.

"That's the point. She's at the point where she can destroy our monarchy and handle it all with an iron fist." dad said.

"If it makes you feel better Your Majesty, Biana and I will watch over them two. Also, we hung out with them a bit yesterday, they have amazing friends and are very trustworthy. They even helped Fitz a bit." Keefe said.

"How?" dad asked, arching his eyebrows.

"Fitz just started bending over and groaning in pain, but then he was miraculously healed." Biana said. He narrowed his eyes.

"I don't think it was them, but fine. Just today." he said.

"They're coming to my party though!" Biana said, daring dad to challenge her. Biana has always been the one that wasn't afraid of defying dad... Sometimes, I wish I was like her, but then it wouldn't be good for the Kingdom.

"Fine..." he muttered. We quickly finished our breakfast and ran to the Leapmaster, ignoring the Guard who was telling us to slow down and wait for him.

"Flowermelle!" Biana yelled before the guard could catch up to us. I felt the light take us away but it couldn't stop me from feeling my beating heart. We appeared in the flowery meadow, a breeze of pollen immediately hitting me in the face.

"This place is so peaceful and calm." Keefe said, taking a deep breath.

"Yeah..." I murmured. Sophie, hopefully, will like this place. Soon, there was a bright light behind us. The Guard appeared with a huge bag of stuff and another Guard with a box.

"Thank you!" Biana squealed at the Guards. She grabbed the bag and box from the Guards and I saw the Guards faces have a hint of red. Biana had always had some kind of effect on the Guards and the servants.

"Let's start!" Keefe said excitedly, rubbing his hands together. He took a huge red satin blanket and laid it out near a huge flowered and berried tree. I took the box and pulled out the picnic basket. I place it in the center of the blanket and take out pates along with utensils.

"What else do we need?" I asked Biana.

"Nothing honestly." she said, looking around.

"Maybe a telescope if you guys stay late so you guys can see the stars." Keefe suggested, shrugging.

"Good idea!" Biana squealed. She quickly went over to the Guards and they disappeared at the LeapMaster.

"Perfect! Anything else?" I asked.

"Nope." Keefe said, his smile not matching his eyes. Weird...

"Go get you girl!" Biana squealed, shoving me to the LeapMaster. I immediately started sweating. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "What are you still doing here?! HURRY UP!" Biana shrieked. I smirked and stepped onto the LeapMaster.

"Havenfield!" I yelled. I felt the light take me away again and when I opened my eyes again, I was in front of Havenfield. I took a deep breath.

Hopefully, I don't make a fool out of myself...
