At Night

Ross:(yawns still working on the guitar)

Rydel:(knocks on his door) Ross

Ross:(yawns) Come in

Rydel:(walks in wearing her pj's) Ross what are you doing up so still? It's 2:00am in the morning

Ross: I can ask you the same thing

Rydel: You're keeping me up

Ross: Oh... sorry (gets back to work) You can go back to sleep, I promise I'll keep it more quiet

Rydel: I'm didn't come in here for you to shut up

Ross: Then what?

Rydel: Why are you working on the guitar? (Sits on Ross's bed)

Ross: It's a really nice guitar sis. A 1979 acoustic guitar. I've always wanted one sis

Rydel: But it's completely destroyed. The neck, the back of the body and not to mention the tuners

Ross:(sighs) I know, it's gonna be a lot of work but I'm determined to get this done if it's the last thing I'll do

Rydel: Why re fix it when you can just ask mom to buy one

Ross:(looks at her) Bc it's from Laura

Rydel: I thought you were mad at her

Ross:(sighs) I was before but she's right. I jump to conclusions to quickly and me cheating on her was so stupid, not to mention the reason why I cheated on her in the first place. (runs his hands through his hair letting them rest on his face) I screwed up I know but..... I still want her to give me another chance

Rydel: Dude she gave you 2 chances already.... (Thinks) I think more

Ross:(glares at her) Skip to the point!

Rydel: I'm just saying that you blow your chances quickly

Ross: Do you have to rub it in? (sad)

Rydel: Woah. You're really sad about this

Ross: I love Laura. You don't know how much I'd take a bullet for her, how much time I'd plan a perfect date for her, how long I'd wait for her until she said yes into marrying me or at least going out with me another time. I'd be by her side till the end, we would be old and die together. I'd do anything for her

Rydel: Anything?

Ross:(nods) Anything

Rydel:(takes a deep breathe) I'll see what I can talk her into for you. It won't be promising but we'll see

Ross:(smiles weakly) Thanks Rydel

Rydel: No problem, now go to sleep. You have bags under your eyes and you look exhausted

Ross: You would to if you've been working on this since 3:00pm

Rydel:(smiles messing up his hair) Go to sleep or I'm taking your allowance for this month (walks out shutting the door behind her)

Ross:(smirks) Joke's on her. I got paid advance (keeps working on the guitar)

The Next Morning

Ross:(asleep having his face on the guitar)

Downstairs

everyone:(eating breakfast)

Stormie: Kids, today your father and I are gonna go to Hawii for our job so we won't be back for a month. Rydel & Riker are in charge till we return
