"Hey Birdy."

Robin had zoned out into the city lights so much he nearly fell off his gargoyle when he suddenly got company.

"Don't sneak up on me like that!" He hissed at Catgirl, who had perched on another gargoyle, a few metres away.

Catgirl laughed at how tense he'd got from brooding. "What's got your feathers in a bunch this time?" She teased.

"Nothing." Robin stared back into the lit up skyline.

Catgirl laughed again, sitting more comfortably on her gargoyle. She pulled out her cigarettes from her utility belt and mumbled, "Well we both know the longer you bottle it up..the worse it'll be when you snap."

He continued silently brooding, not taking his eyes off the many lights brightening the dark Gotham landscape.

"Come on, Birdy." She sighed at him, "We're friends again, aren't we?"

"As far as I'm aware." He mumbled, barley paying attention to her.

"Hey." She stood up on her gargoyle and crossed her arms at him, "Don't start with that doubting shit. You know I'm not pissed at you for what happened at Mount Justice."

He glanced at her, asking, "What are you doing out here anyway?" he looked her up and down, "I thought you were ditching your cowl until things cooled off with you and The League."

"Now who's the one ignoring messages?" She coughed to hide a small laugh.

Robin narrowed his eyes in confusion, diverting them as he checked his phone for any missed messages.

"So you did ignore me!" Catgirl dramatically gasped, "And I just called you my friend!"

I was busy.." He rolled his eyes at her sarcasm and opened the unread message to look at a picture of a camera, "What is this?" he showed her the phone.

Catgirl took another draw from her cigarette before stating, "A camera."

"Really? I had no idea."

Catgirl stuck out her tongue at him.

"Why'd you send it?" He asked, looking back down at his phone.

"No clue." Katherine shrugged, "Thought you'd be able to clear it up."

Robin had to resist knocking the cigarette out of her hand when she went back to smoke it again.

Catgirl flicked the ash away, seemingly oblivious to his frustration when it came to her deadly addiction.

"It was outside of Black Canary's apartment." She shrugged, taking another draw from the cigarette, "Wouldn't of thought anything of it, if there wasn't a completely different camera pointing at the same doorway. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a Justice League camera."

Robin narrowed his eyes suspiciously, "I thought you were with Roy. Why were you at Black Canary's apartment?"

"Thanksgiving." Catgirl flawlessly lied.

Robin would've believed it too, if he didn't already known Katherine hated holidays.

He remembered having to physically beg her to spend holidays with him at Wayne Manor growing up- and she rarely gave in.

It didn't make sense for her to be different with Roy.

What made him different?

Robin questioned, "Why would Roy suddenly want to be around The Justice League, after avoiding them for so long?"
