"Martinez and Del Monte, your teams will be in-charge in this operation, I want this bloody organization to be caught this day." Gen. De Leon ordered. "Am I clear?"

"Sir, yes, Sir!" Me and Del Monte answered simultaneously.

Paalis na kami sa opisina ni Gen. De Leon nang bigla niya akong tawagin.

"Congratulations Martinez! I heard about the wedding. Make sure to update your personal information in the system."

"Thank you, sir."

"Congratulations po, sir." a female soldier, probably nine years younger than me greeted me as she the form I needed to fill-out.

"Thank you, Lieutenant."

Del Monte joined me and started to tease me again, "Name of spouse, Eula Valdes Martinez. You're so lucky, Bok!"

"Sa susunod na medical mission, i-coordinate natin na isa ang asawa mo na makakasama natin." He suggested.

Pabor iyon sa akin dahil medyo matagal din ang mga ganoong activity. Minsan inaabot ng isang linggo.

"Alam ko nang crush mo ang asawa ko kaya makikiusap ako kay General na hindi ka isasama." I joked but in a serious tone.

"Ay, ang seloso naman nito." sabi ni Del Monte. "Crush lang naman at saka asawa mo na iyon. Wala na akong laban doon. At besides, may girlfriend na ako."

"Girlfriend? Hoy, isumbong kita sa asawa mo a."

We both laughed. "Maiwan na nga kita, baka may masabi pa akong pang-blackmail mo sa akin. I'll wait you outside."

I changed my emergency contact from Marcial Martinez to Eula Martinez.

After updating the system about the change in my personal information, I went outside to join the team.

And as our team assembled for the briefing of this operation, they all lined up in a single formation and said in unison, "Congratulations, Captain Martinez!"

I was surprised by this and looked at Del Monte for an answer.

But he just smiled and nodded.

"Thank you!"

After Del Monte discussed the detailed procedures and delegation of soldier to man a particular station, we all boarded the the military vehicle and went on our way.

"Iba talaga si Captain Martinez, kakakasal lang kahapon pero naka-duty na agad." komento ng isang sundalo.

"Sir, pakain ka naman po mamaya pagkatapos ng misyon natin." kantyaw nong isa.

"Let's accomplished our mission first and I will treat you all to dinner, that includes barbecue, a few drinks, and even videoke." sabi ko para mamotivate sila.

Mukhang nasiyahan naman sila sa sinabi ko. Pero hindi ko pa pala nasabi kay Eula na magdidinner ako sa labas. If all goes well, isasama ko na lang siya.

The party started at exactly ten o'clock. And I sensed na talagang may magaganap na bentahan ng droga dito.
