I smile but in my head im thinking about so much.

"I dont think people can look like ants sweetie....who did your hair, was it daddy" I smirk

"No dont be silly, it was Ms. Lucy" She says and my smile almost drops. 

I look up at Alex who is avoiding my gaze.

"Sweetie can you um give mommy and daddy a minute please." I say tickling her.

She laughs and then walks back to her room and I immediatley stand up.

"Ms. Lucy?" I say

"Yea thats the name of the babysitter I hired." He says scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Why couldnt you have just dropped her at my moms house" I ask

"She is my child Brice not your mothers. Your mom needs a break because like it or not shes been the one watching Kenya when im away and while you were doing all that gang shit"He sneers and i glare at him.

"Dont curse when our daughter is in the other room" I snap

"Our daughter...thats right..our daughter yet it seems like im doin-"

"You enrolled her in school, without talking to me about it first..what if i didnt want her to go to school yet" I say. Truthfully I think its great that  Kenya has started school but I feel like Im missing out on my baby's life. She's growing up.

"She needs to start getting an education and I had the money to do it" He says

"Well I-"

"Wait" He orders before walking out of the room.

I huff and run my fingers through my hair frustrated as he comes back with a guitar and his lap top.

"Sit down...please"I look at him unsure but I sit. He kneels in front of me, starts a drum beat on his lap top and starts playing.

He ends the song and looks at me with such pain but love. I feel something on my hand only to realize im crying. He wipes my cheek and pulls me closer. He basically just told me he still loves me..he wants me. I push him off and run out the door to my car as i wipe my tears. I hit my hand on the steering wheel in frustration and cry harder.
