Maka slammed the door behind her only for soul to throw is open again.
It was nearing morning. They'd wasted their entire night arguing.
"I'll ask you ONE more time."
"You've said that ten times tonight! And I'll give you the same answer every time, Soul! None of your--"
Soul yanked her back by her arm and pressed her back to the door.
"Get off, Soul."
"No, Maka."
Maka shoved him a bit, but he stayed put. He wasn't gonna back down this time.
"Just tell me who that guy was. I'll leave you alone if you just tell me."
"Soul, it's not your business!"
"Why're you talking to other guys, Maka! I thought we told each other everything! But instead you go off on secret meetings and--"
"My brother!"
Soul flinched, not expecting her to snap.
"W-What?"
"My dad fucked some waitress and that's my brother and he's transferring to the DWMA. Can you just leave me alone now?"
Soul felt guilt stack on him.
Maka rolled her eyes and shoved him off before locking herself in her room.
