Planetarium- Mark

Song of the chapter: Something- Girls Day

"Hey ______ I was wondering if we could do something tonight since I have work off today" Mark said to you as he brought in a large bag. You turned down the tv and looked at him.

"Depends. What are we doing? Because I am not cooking a ton of food for you to eat" you said jokingly.

"No. I will not make my bestfriend cook all that food for me again" He said opening the bag. He took out a mini projector and slides.

"I was wondering if we could project these on the ceiling tonight and watch the stars on these slides" He shyly said. You smiled and hugged him. "That sounds wonderful" you said getting up to set it up.

"That one looks like a bunny!" You exclaimed pointing to it. You were both laying down on your bed looking at the slides.

"Yes it kind of does" Mark said looking over at you. He has feelings for you and was going to tell you tonight.

"Mark I'm going to get some marshmallows because I feel like it don't break anything" you said getting up.

He suddenly change to the second to last slide.

"Hey it changed" you pouted walking in with a mouthful of marshmallows.

"_____ come here I really like the last one" He said smirking. You layed down confused. He changed it and it was a picture of you and Mark when you were in preschool. "Ah it's a small me!" You screamed laughing.

It changed to when you were both 8 and you were smiling like an idiot because there was a tooth missing in the front. "I look like a hill Billy change it" you looked away and into his arm. He smelled like cologne. It was a nice smell though, like vanilla.

"This one is my favorite. You had your glasses and braids and your braces. You looked like such a nerd!" He exclaimed chuckling. You looked like a dork.

It was then a picture of you two this year. You were at your mother's wedding smiling like an idiot with an idiot beside you. Mark.

You grew up with Mark your whole life and you wouldn't change it for the world. He was your bestfriend. But you developed a strong passion for him in 6th grade but pushed it aside since you thought he only saw you as a friend.

Then it changed to just a white screen. In about a minute it suddenly had words on the screen that brought you to tears.

Will you go out with me?

You looked over at Mark and nodded your head. You hugged him with all your might and he did as well.

"You have no idea how long I have been waiting to do that" He said into your hair. "I'm so glad you have to same feelings or else this would be so awkward" Mark said chuckling. You could feel his body shake and you shivered when you looked into his eyes.

"Mark. I want to thank you for being there" you said staring into his beautiful eyes. "Well when we are married those can be your vows" He smirked and you both looked back at the slides. The stars seemed to be even prettier now that your bestfriend, or should I say boyfriend, had confessed. And it was a perfect night at that.
