Colourful Specter

by JoannaNestoridi and Warrior_Prophet

I remember the first time I saw you rainbow
Colours of beauty against dark sky did you glow
An amazing light show that did arc
A pot of gold at your end would be the question mark

The moody sky you lit
And hope everywhere you spread
A lovely colourful heat you emit
And no cloud is anymore a dread

There is nothing else in the universe like you
Your appearance majestic from rain or dew
You truly are the Archetype
Across heavens sky your colours swipe

Some say; what difference does it make
That in a rainbow seven colours should be found
No matter how good a look you might take
You won't be able more than five to count

This is how I remember the colours that make up your name
Richard of York gave battle in vain
Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo and Violet
And the esteemed beauty of how your colours separate
