Mysterio returns

"THE FLOOR IS LAVA!" Peter screeched from the ceiling the avengers looked up (apart from Bruce who was reading, and Steve who was elsewhere huffed and didn't move
"LAST ONE ON THE FLOOR IS DOING ALL CHORES!"
That's when everyone moved peter still on the ceiling "take me with you!" Tony cried fruitlessly jumping up furiously trying to reach peter who grabbed Tony's hand and hoisted him up Bucky stood on the sofa lightly smiling with Bruce still reading the same book Natasha on the table smirking at her 'little spiders' game with Sam clinging onto a disgruntled Clint standing on the arm chair that's when Steve walked in...using the floor... he caught site of everyone he put down the book he was about to read sighed and asked ,though he knew he'd regret it, "what's going on" everyone simultaneously cheered "thanks Steve" Bucky said getting off the sofa and walking to the gym  "thanks Steve"Bruce said climbing off the sofa going back to his lab  "thanks Steve" Natasha said jumping quietly off the table   "thanks Steve"Sam said clambering off Clint "thanks Steve" Clint said jumping up into the vents from the armchair with a smirk Steve sighed sitting on the Now vacant sofa then he heard sniggering he looked up to see Tony clinging onto peter in the ceiling "Peter! What.did.you.do!" Steve said using his 'mom voice' mixed with his 'capsickle' tone  as both called it Tony slid off pete who glided down to the floor both trying and failing to contain their giggles soon they made eye contact and gave up laughing out loud raucously it took a while and Steve's glare to calm them down and peter answered  taking a stage deep breath(esaggerated) and shouted  "LAST ONE ON THE FLOOR IS DOING ALL CHORES!" Steve chuckled "that's me isn't it" Tony nodded "oh you two are-
Thats when mysterio entered the avengers floor living room Tony and peter froze
Steve secretly signalled the rest of the avengers

"Come here peter, you know your not safe
here" peter ran to him like a doll possessed engulfing Mysterio in a giant hug like he was his
"Dad!" 
Steve's Face went white peter saw his captor his torturer as his DAD?
"You too Tony your family as well"
Tony walked over to him smiling. Genuinely smiling not the conference fake flashy smile the genuine I love my family smile he too embraced the man chuckling playfully
"I love you steve" peter giggled still squished between them.
Everyone stood their slack jawed and utterly confused especially Steve
"some sort of hyper-illusion" Steve asked aloud
"No" Mysterio said unravelling himself from the embrace latching peter onto Tony before turning to the avengers smirking "they're seeing what they want to see" Tony and peter continued the hug as If nothing had happened it was as if both hadnt noticed, lost in some sort of daze hugging each other close pure joy etched on their faces "they can't see you nor hear you they're living their best days,their best life," mysterio looked back at them fondly "with me!" His fondness turned to a grin of manipulation "they love me seeing you! Like I've always been part of their family NOT you" at this point mysterio pointed disgustedly at Steve "You thought you had them back No" Mysterio laughed "I Have them Forever they'll never wake from this they'll always be mine! And you cannot stop me!"

Steve enraged walked menacingly up to mysterio his fists clenched it was clear he was going to punch him mysterio did not defend himself or talk Steve round just stood there smiling like he knew something Steve didn't as Steve went to punch him mysterio was pushed to the side and Steve was thrown backwards hard he looked back to see peter infront of where mysterio had been his hand still in place from where he had punched him Tony giving mysterio a hand up off the floor to the side then and only then did it register in Steve's head •peter had punched him. Tony had saved Mysterio over him! 
"Don't you touch my Father!"
It was peter? Steve got to his feet but didn't move too overcome from shock "didn't you hear me I said don't touch my father" peter said with venom now flooded into his voice Tony walked up to peter and out his hand on his shoulder "he's gone now son I'm very proud of you" Tony didn't look at him but rather through him as did peter suddenly Tony brought peter into a side hug and made their way back to where mysterio was 'smiling' happily "thanks pete,Tony" he said ruffling peter then Tony's hair ,much to the latters annoyance, peter once again laughed at the sour look on Tony's face who tried so hard to hold it but in the end but bust out laughing also to outsiders it would appear that the 3 were a happy content family!
That's when for Steve it clicked Tony and Peter were clouded by illusions including depth perception illusions to them Steve was a criminal who'd attached their close family and ran away after one punch, While Mysterio was Steve currently hugging them.
