[5] Betrayed By Lies

[We walk up to the front of the door and he pulls out a set of keys, unlocking the door. We step inside and Kaede pulls out of the parking lot, driving away. Now it's just me and Shuichi.]

[Kokichi's POV]

"W-where are we?" "Were at my house." "It's r-really big." "Is that a problem?" He had said that with so much attitude that I started panicking a little bit. "N-no, no n-not at all." "Good. Then I'll show you to your room." My r-room?" "Yea your room! You'll be staying here with me for a bit. Your parents already know, so it's fine."

Weird, my parents would never even let me leave the house unless it was to go to school. So why would they allow me to all of a sudden stay with Shuichi? "Hey, I also bought you an outfit, hopefully you'll like it. Now hurry up and let's get to your room, follow me." "O-ok." Why am I agreeing to this? He then started to walk off, me following quickly behind him. He stopped in front of a door.

"Here's your room." He grabs a key from his pocket and unlocks the door. We both walk in, me still following behind him. "Your outfit is on that dresser right there, I'll wait for you outside. Call me when your done changing." Then he left the room, locking the door after exiting.

I then, all of a sudden, went into complete panic mode. I mean I was basically kidnapped, and he did hit me unconscious a couple of times. Could he be lying to me about my parents too? My mind wasn't in the clear, I couldn't help but feel guilty for my own kidnapping. I then ran into the bathroom that I noticed was connected to the bedroom.

[Shuichi's POV]

After I left Kokichi in his room. I went and sat down on the couch in my living room. 5 minutes go by, guess he's still changing. 10 minutes, he'll be out in a minute. 15 minutes, I start to panic. I grab my key and start running to his door. I then unlocked the door and step inside. He's not in his room. There isn't a way to escape so, all I could think of was the bathroom connected to the bedroom. I walk over to the bathroom door.

I hear crying, then I opened the door to what looked like a murder scene. There was blood all in the sink and all over Kokichi's left arm. "K-kokichi?? What did you do?" "I couldn't s-stop myself, I'm sorry." I noticed a blade on the counter. How did he obtain one? I run out of the room to a near by med kit. I pick it up and ran back to Kokichi. When I got back he was more of a crying mess. "I d-disappointed you, didn't I." "Ko you will never disappoint me. We will talk after, let's get you cleaned up right now. Remember, I want to see the outfit on you. Then Kokichi blacked out.

"W-what happened?" He had just woken up on my couch in my living room. I had brought him here after I had cleaned him up. "You blacked out as soon as we walked into the house." I'm sorry I lied Ko, I just don't want you panicking right now. "But I was in the-." "You must have dreamt it. Take it easy and rest, alright Ko?" "O-ok."

He must have been really tired because after he closed his eyes, he started snoring softly. Why is he so perfect? "But luckily for me, you'll be sleeping here for the rest of your life. I'm sorry I keep lying to you my love. But now, you don't need to attend Hope's Peak anymore. Best of all, your parents are no longer on this earth! I was even the one who texted you that notification."

[Me and your father won't be home till tomorrow afternoon. Make sure to keep the house clean.]

"Were also going to have to do something about that stunt you pulled." I whispered that part in his ear. I then picked Kokichi up bridal style and walked over to his room. I placed him on the floor in front of his door softly and grabbed the key to his room. I unlocked the door, put the key back in my pocket and picked him back up.

I walked over to his bed and placed him in the middle of it. I took the covers and tucked him in. I then walked out of the room, locking the door after exiting. When I cleaned him up, I also made sure to put cameras in his room. So i'll know if he's up to something.

[Kokichi's POV]

He's lying to me, he lied to me. I faked my sleep but, I wasn't ready to hear any of that. I had stayed faking my sleep for a long while. 30 minutes maybe? Just to make it more believable that I was actually sleeping. Then I had pretended I had just gotten up. I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom, still looking like I was actually tired. I opened the door, walked in, and then closed it. I noticed that there was a lock on the door, so I decided to turn it. Then, lifting up my left sleeve to see my arm bandaged up.

But all of a sudden, there was hard banging on the door.
