After getting into a fight with one and other, Kokichi and Shuichi were forced to live together. Little did they know, this punishment given to them would be the best thing that ever happened to them.

Kyoko Kirigiri is a world renowned detective. She's solved every case she's ever been assigned except one. Her parent's murder. When she finds clues connecting her parents murder and Celestia Ludenberg, a famous underground gambler and drug dealer, as well as a former assassin in the world's largest assassination organization in the world, D.I.C.E., Kyoko starts suspecting her. She (reluctantly) teams up with Shuichi Saihara, a detective who's been chasing Kokichi Oma, leader of D.I.C.E., for years, and the detective's find themselves involved in the biggest chase of their careers. --- TLDR; Kyoko is chasing Celestia and Kokichi with the help of Shuichi because she suspects Celestia of her parents murder. I suck at descriptions. Criminal AU? Or would this be an Assassin AU? Idk.

This is one of the three paths of The Boy With The Blank Stare. In this route Ouma desires revenge to those who wronged him in his time of need and searches for the culprit who broke him and massacred countless others. On the sidelines to Ouma's new outlook on life Saihara is conflicted in trying to figure out what he can do to stop Ouma and finally save him from his past. Make sure to read The Boy With The Blank Stare before this in order to understand as it will have multiple references to it and spoilers.
