I am so tired of having to explain my stories. I used to not have to write these notes but, I guess some of my new readers are different then the one's who have been with me for a while.
Anyway, in this book and Texas Rollercoaster a lot of you have been dissapointed about who I chose to be the top and bottom. I make this decision based on my characters personalities. In this book it's about what makes sense to me. Thomas is a victim of rape and abuse. Multiple encounters with his late master has damaged him. Having no control over what was happening to him. There is no way I can make him a bottom because it would be too difficult for his mental health. The fact that he is a slave and sleeping with a white man once again would bring up his past and his father. Being a top will give him the control he never had.
I hate having to explain that. This book isn't about the sex . It's about these two boys who are trapped in a time period where hatred thrived. I'm focusing more on how there connection will survive and the sacrifices they will have to make. Not how they will be in bed. This story is a topic that is close to home for a lot of people especially me and if after reading this you realize it isn't what you want I understand but, I'm not changing it. This story is too important especially when Wattpad is lacking in this department. So, I hope you all understand and continue to enjoy the story.
