The smoke went into Yohan's mouth and he began to cough vigorously, looking super comical while Hangyul took the cake away from him.
They spent a few rounds of singing and eating the cake before Hangyul stood up all of a sudden. "I think i'm going to buy some snacks—"
"But we still have cake though?" Min tilted her head. The table in front of them were filled with sweets and snacks, it wouldn't make sense for Hangyul to go buy somemore.
"UhhHh I have diarrhea! You too right Jisol?" He pointed to his cousin and she could only roll her eyes at how bad his excuse was. She didn't bother to respond to him before pushing him out of the room, leaving the couple alone.
Min scratched her head in confusion before looking back at the screen when the music started playing. Yohan had picked up the mic, his fingers fidgeting endlessly from the nervousness. "Wah!!" The girl hyped him up when he hadn't even started singing, not knowing if he was good at it or not.
She's so cute. It was a ballad song that made Yohan completely immersed in the emotions the song was trying to put out. Min couldn't believe her ears when he started singing. His voice felt like honey to her, clearly surprising her his his great ability.
At first she was just simply appreciating how amazing his voice sounded, until she began to notice the lyrics of the song.
After meeting you, I was so happy That I am able to love you so much Because you embraced and understood My young and immature mind warmly
The emotions that Yohan spilled just within his gaze complemented the lyrics, the sound of Min's heartbeat echoed through her ears. Are those words for me?
After meeting each other, there was nothing but joy and fun for the two. Yohan took care of Min unconditionally and they went through a misunderstanding before she was able to help him get out of his slump. It was inevitable for them to fall in love with each other. Even if Min wasn't his first love, he would have still fallen for her nevertheless.
And very naturally, Min reciprocated his feelings, as though they were meant for each other. In their hearts, they always prayed for their love to continue being this strong for their days to come.
Min didn't even know she was tearing until a tear rolled down her cheek, completely overwhelmed by a mixture of feelings. Yohan stood in front of her to wipe her cheek, preparing himself for the last verse of the song.
Are you happy after meeting me too? I'm sorry that I couldn't give you much more I'm selfish and unstable But I want to treat you well
Yohan took Min's hand in his, holding it ever so gently as though she is going to break any moment.
I think I have found a perfect love That I have been waiting for a long time Because you held me and gave me energy
He thought back on just yesterday, when Min tried to cheer him up from his encounter with his father.

There was really no better lyrics to describe their relationship and how much Min meant to him. The song came to an end and just when Min thought that was it, he took out a velvet box from his back pocket.
"Relax, I'm not proposing to you just yet. It's a promise ring from me to you, and also your birthday gift." By this time, Min wondered if she was on cloud nine, her insides felt fluffy and warm, the feeling of being loved made her heart flutter for the nth time.
She could only stare at the beautiful ring, still feeling surreal. Although it had no diamond, the silver band shined brightly with their initials engraved in small fonts at the side of the ring.
Yohan couldn't deny the fuzzy feeling in his heart. He was over the moon to see that Min liked the ring, only to remember that he forgot to ask one thing.
"Oh man! I was so nervous that I actually forgot to officially ask you out." he chuckled in embarrassment before Min shook her head, putting a finger to his lips.
"Let's change things up."
"Eh?"
"Kim Yohan, would you be my boyfriend?" That sweet, simple, curt question was all that was needed. The male didn't need to be asked twice before he slipped the ring onto her middle finger, smiling at how it fits perfectly.
"Was that why you kept looking at my hand?" Min couldn't help but question, her eyes lingering on the ring, finding her life like a fairytale.
"Shh you ask too many questions."
He interlocked their fingers, their rings pressed together before leaning in to kiss Min. They couldn't help but smile in between the kiss, their mind blank from euphoria.
