"Are you happy with this?" He asked

I wouldn't exactly say 'happy' but I was ok with it

So I just nodded

"I'm happy for you then" he said

"Ya Abdul Wallahi don't make me cry" I said as I tried to rub the tears that were starting to gather

"Why do you think I'm here then?" He said with a laugh as he draped a hand over my shoulder

I hugged him back "I'll miss you"

"You're such a drama queen, i can see you whenever I want, it's not like you're leaving the county, but, I'll miss you too" he said

"Whenever he troubles you, just give me a call" he said

I turned to look at him and I burst out laughing "weren't you the same person a month ago saying 'he can arrest a whole village with the snap of his fingers' and now you're telling me 'give me a call'"

"Well, this situation is different!"

"Whatever" I said

"Circumstances change mamana" he said

"They sure do"

Rumaisa then came into the room telling me the dilke woman is here

"What? She said she was coming by eight" I said as I released my self from Ya Abdul's embrace

She rolled her eyes "well, she has somewhere to go, she's waiting for you in Mummy's room"

It was obvious Rumaisa wasn't happy about me marrying Umar

She didn't even try to hide it

I thought it was just a childish crush but I actually realized she was serious about Umar

After I washed my henna yesterday I was going to the kitchen to get a bottle of water when I heard her crying

I felt so selfish

And I honestly don't know how to feel

I don't know how to feel about anything at this moment in my life!

I sighed before I picked up my wrapper and I went to Aunty's room

It took us two freaking hours to finish that thing

But when we were done and I looked at my self in the mirror I could barely recognize my skin

It was as soft as a baby's butt

Like, no joke

I took my bath in Aunty's room and when I came out my clothes were laid on the bed

When did Stephanie bring it?

It was now 9 o'clock and the house was getting pretty noisy

I looked at the light purple lace that's sewn into a gown

How many times did I tell these people that I didn't want anything extra, how many times?!

I sighed as I got ready and I slipped the gown on

I was zipping it when Rabi'ah came in with Salma behind her and a make up artist behind salma

That's when I noticed they were wearing matching atampa

"Don't tell me you guys did asoebi?" I asked

"Are you blind? Of course we did, how can your wedding pass without us doing asoebi" salma said

And when did I even made an agreement with them that a make up artist would be called

They literally forced me to sit on that chair

The woman was about to start when I spoke "I want something simple"

She giggled "ok, I'll do it as simple as I can for a Bride"

"No, as simple as you can for a normal client" I said

She laughed at me "First time I have a bride asking me for a casual"

I grinned back at her

Salma rolled her eyes "someone would not think she's the one marrying Umar Kashim"

The makeup artist froze "You're Umar Kashim's bride?!"

Why does everyone seem to know this guy na?

"I know right" Rabi'ah said as she opened a can of Fanta

"Why are you guys insulting me like this na" I said as I eyed Rabi'ah

"I can't believe I'm doing your makeup, Umar Kashim's bride" she said

"You guys are so dramatic" I said as I tried to snatch the cab of Fanta in Rabi'ah's hand

I didn't want them to keep talking about Umar, that made me think of him

And I didn't want to
