Rebekah was a complete mess. All she did was cry and try to call Klaus, without him answering her calls nor her texts.

Rebekah decided to go talk with Caroline, so she called her, hoping Caroline would answer.

"Hello?" Caroline said.

"Hi..." Rebekah said, almost sounding like Ross Geller. "It's me, Rebekah. Can we talk?"

"If it's about me not having a relationship with your brother, you don't need to worry. We broke up." Caroline sighed because even if she tried to see Rebekah's point of view, she couldn't help but feel disappointed and sad with the way she reacted.

"Great. Thank you." Rebekah smiled weakly.

"I'll just go put my things in my dorm room. See ya." Caroline said and hung up before Rebekah could say goodbye because for how much Caroline tried to convince herself that Rebekah was a good friend, she couldn't help but few resentment with the way Rebekah acted, with the things she said and for being the reason she couldn't be with the man she was falling in love with.

Once Caroline put her things in her dorm room, she went to see Rebekah. She didn't know what to expect, a furious Rebekah or a disappointed Rebekah because Caroline couldn't follow the girl code, but, to her surprise, she found a devastated Rebekah. Rebekah was with a messy hair, without makeup, a large t-shirt and some leggings.

"You wanted to talk with me?" Caroline simply said because it hurt her seeing Rebekah, every time she looked her in the eyes, she relived the moment she and Klaus broke up.

"Yes. Come in, please. I promise this is a peaceful conversation." Rebekah said.

"Okay." Caroline said, getting inside of the room, closing the door behind her, not really sure what to expect of this conversation.

"First of all, I wanted to apologize."

"For what, exactly?" Caroline asked because she couldn't help being angry at Rebekah.
