Chapter 17

In a rush, we reached Emmeryn's room.

Chrom:"Emm!"

Emmeryn:"Chrom! Take Lissa and flee why you still have time!"

Me:"Don't be ridiculous! We'll stay here and beat those assassins!"

Chrom:"You stay here where it's safe!"

We left the room and got ready.

Me:"The best is to defeat them before they get close to much."

In that moment, Marth(?)'s sword started to shine.

Me:"Why is it doing that?"

Marth(?):"It's none of your concern."

Me:"Figures..."

Chrom:"Just stay by Emmeryn's door. We'll handle the killers."

Virion:"I'll support her with my arrows. Such a lady shouldn't fight alone."

Lissa:"The others are dealing with the other side of the corridor."

Me:"Let's begin then."

We proceeded against a couple of assassin but before we could fight something came out of nowhere and attacked them.

Me:"The hell?"

Despite its size and colors, it was (I'm not joking) a rabbit with red eyes, crashing those two as nothing.

Really, I'm serious.

I slowly turned to Chrom, Lissa and Frederick.

Me:"...Is that thing yours?"

By the look of their faces, it wasn't. But that was only the begin.

After smashing the (poor) assassins, it turned into a woman with long black hair and rabbit ears.

???:"I knew there was winsdom in slipping in with those rogues. Look how these man-spawn claw at each other like savages!"

Me:'THEY would be savage?'

Ghost Rider:'You're the one who talk.'

???:"I will repay my warren's debt and then wash my hand of their race."

Me:"Is she...with us?"

Marth(?):"Hold! Panne is not your enemy!"

We turned to her.

Chrom:"You know her?"

Marth(?):"I know...of her. And I knew she would come here tonight."

Chrom:"Quite the prophet, aren't you?"

Marth:"As you say. And I swear to you, Panne is an ally."

Me:"Looking at those two, I believe it."

I know it sounds hypocritical, but I felt pity for them.

Chrom:"All right, Shepherds! For now, we leave this Panne character be."

Frederick:"Is that wise milord?"

Me:"Want to face her?"

He looked at the assassins.

Frederick:"...I'll pass, for now."

Me:"Good answer."

That said, we split up and covered a larger zone.

I got care of a couple of magician and proceeded when I looked at someone trying to open a door.

Me:"I suggest you to stop, or I'll burn you where you stand."
