Blaine was getting ready to go to Kurt’s to help him with his geography. His hands and forehead were sweating. Just as he was about to go he looked in his mirror and said to himself:
“Stay cool, you’ll be fine, stay cool, don’t be nervous”
This didn’t seem to help him at all, the closer he drew the Kurt’s the more he began to worry.
By the time he got to Kurt’s he had noticed he was soaked in his own sweat, he thought going into Kurt’s house like this would be silly and raise some suspicion in Kurt’s mind. So he had no other option but to sit there with the air conditioner on full blast, listen to some music until he was dry again.
Two minutes into this his phone buzzed:
Why are you just sitting in your car? Come inside- Kurt
Oh sorry just got side-tracked- Blaine
Blaine got out of the car and walked up to Kurt’s front door, he noticed he wasn’t overly wet now.
Before Blaine could knock Kurt opened the door
“Thank you for finally joining me Blaine… hey why are you all sweaty?” Kurt asked
“Uuh It’s hot out today” Blaine answered stupidly
“It’s the end of autumn” Kurt replied.
“Yeah, the best wether we’ve had in ages” Blaine answered.
“Alright then…come on in” Kurt said.
Blaine followed Kurt inside and up the stairs into his room. Blaine had been in this room many times before, he remembered staying over and having sleep overs with Kurt many other times, from when they were kids up and till now, but never had he been in this room as nervous as he was now.
"Ok so im confused about these things here, can you show me how to do them?” Kurt asked
“Yeah sure, just give me a second I need to go to the bathroom” Blaine answered.
“Sure but be quick” Kurt replied.
Blaine walked into Kurt’s bathroom and closed the door and saw his reflection starring back at him through the mirror.
“Stop worrying!” He said to himself angrily
He went over to the sink and splashed water on his face.
“Ok calm down, just act normal” He said.
He then went outside and sat down on Kurt’s bed and began to show him how to solve the problems. As Blaine was explaining it for the third time Kurt’s phone buzzed.
Kurt pulled out his phone and laughed.
“Kurt, I need you back here working” Blaine said
“Sorry it’s from Rory.” Kurt apologised
Rory. Blaine never really liked Rory. He could never understand anything he said and the fact Rory was with Kurt and Blaine wasn’t made him Angry.
“Kurt just text him later! My god!” Blaine said annoyed.
“Ok, calm down” Kurt said
Blaine realised he had been a bit mean to him.
“Sorry” he mumbled
“It’s fine, ill just get back to work” Kurt
“Thanks” Blaine replied
Kurt got up and went back to his work. Blaine had sat there in silence waiting for Kurt to finish. Kurt was then interrupted again by his phone. Kurt talk it out of his pocket.
“Agh sorry its Rory calling” Kurt apologised
“Just take it” Blaine sighed
“No its fine ill put it away” Kurt said
"Just take the call!” Blaine said Angrily
“Ok sorry…Hello?...Rory im studying now….you can’t come over Blaine’s helping me…No I can’t get rid of him…NO!...Ok im sorry too….yeah I love you” Kurt said
Blaine and Kurt sat there in silence for a few moments.
“Sorry” Kurt said.
“Yeah it’s k” Blaine said
Kurt for the third time started working again and this time finished his work within a few minutes.
“Alright im done” Kurt said
“Ok can I see it? Ill check it” Blaine asked.
Kurt handed his work over.
“Good, it’s alright. Now I’ll be back next week same time to help you some more” Blaine said
“What are you leaving? Already?!” Kurt asked
“Uuh yeah I have to leave” Blaine
“What! No don’t we can talk about stuff, I haven’t talked to you that much lately!” Kurt said
“Ok then I’ll stay for a while” Blaine said “what do you want to talk about?”
“Just how’s everything been going? Got any special crushes?” Kurt asked
“Im good, and no not really” Blaine said
“Oh that’s great because I found a girl that would be great with you” Kurt said
“Yeah who?” Blaine said curiously
“This girl who’s new at McKinley, her name is Santana Lopez. I had to show her around. So how about I intro you two, tomorrow at the lima bean?” Kurt suggested
As he kept on speaking Blaine faded out from the conversation. He didn’t want anyone else, He just wanted Kurt.
“Blaine! Hello?” Kurt snapped
“What…oh yeah whatever” Blaine said sounding stupid.
“Great!” Kurt said “I’ll get back to her on it”
Blaine left Kurt’s house a little later. As he drove he thought about Kurt trying to set him up with Santana. He didn’t like it. He didn’t want a Girlfriend he wanted a Boyfriend by the name of Kurt Hummel. He didn’t know what he was going to do. His phone buzzed:
Ah she said she’ll be there tomorrow at 4 - Kurt!
Blaine sighed. What a mess he was in.
