RANDI Pov
While standing near the warm fire place in my office. Camila ask "What happened?" I heard it was rogues." She said.
"Yea I answer, but I don't know why they attacked, and to be in our territory?" This whole ordeal troubles me.
"Is....Leah going to be OK?" She asks.
"Hopefully the doctor will send word soon." I stared intensely into the fireplace. Then a silence fell between us.
"Are you going to visit her tonight?" I could sense uneasiness in her tone of voice.
"As the alpha, it's my duty to see about her well-being, but that's all." I turn my head to look up at her. I grab her hand and guided her around the chair and onto my lap. She wraps her arms around my neck and we stare into each other eyes. "I love you." I tell her.
Camila slowly starts to place small kisses on my bandaged knuckles, and then she moves to my lips.
We hear an abrupt knock at the door.
Camila sighs and then genteelly rubs my cheek. "I'll see you later." She whispers before kissing my forehead and getting up to open the door.
One of the pack member's walks in and bows his head.
"Alpha, your brother has requested to speak with you."
