Chapter Seventeen

How about Lisa? She also helps you. Another voice comes from my head again, but as usual, I kill it away. When Jisoo and Chaeng arrives on the boat, Chaeng exclaims, "Our helmsman will arrive in five minutes," She utters as she looks at her wristwatch. She looks at us in confusion with her brows curving up.

"Lisa, what's wrong? Why do you sit so far away from Jennie?" She asks.

"Umm, It's nothing, U-" Before she finishes, I cut her off, "I think I want to sit at the front," I point at the front boat and walk away. "I can go with you if you want," Jisoo says, but I refuse, "No, Chu. You can stay here. I just want to relax."

Not long after, the helmsman comes, and he starts the engine as our boat drifts off from the coast.

"Jennie," I see Lisa sitting beside me. I don't know when she gets here because I focus on the blue water around me, "Why are you here?" I ask, still not looking at her.

"Jennie, I don't know what's wrong with us, but please stop angry with me, okay?" She says with sad eyes. I don't want to speak to her or ask about that girl, but I can't stop my stupid fucking mouth, "Who is she?"

"Who?" She asks in confusion, but she adds as she tend to remember who I am talking about, "Nancy?"

I nod.

"She is a model, and we used to hook up together, but now we are just friends." Oh, she wants to tell me that she used to have sex with that model. Even if I hate her, I can't deny the fact that Nancy is so damn hot.

"But, we aren't doing it, now. We are just friends I swear."

"Why do you have to swear? It doesn't matter, though." I say, looking at the blue water I am used to admiring.

"It doesn't matter to me, but it matters to you." She murmurs as I glance at her. "Why?" I ask.

"Because I don't want you to think anything about me like that. I know I used to do that with, honestly, a ton of hot models like her, but now, I want you to know that I am trying to stop. I don't want to do that again. It's just my past."

I am shocked of her bluntness. "Okay," I answer shortly, not knowing how to reply any further.

She grabs my hand in hers, "Remember that your mind always matters to me, okay?" She smiles, "Now, forgive me for whatever I have done. Our friends are waiting for us." She pouts. I laugh at her cuteness.

"Nah, nah, nah, forgive me?"

I nod as she hugs me tightly, "That's my Jennie." She says as she helps me to stand up and walk to Jisoo and Chaeng. Excitement brushes all over my skin of what she called me.

"Jennie, your face?" Jisoo asks, looking so worried. "What?" I touch my face to feel something, but it's nothing. It's normal I think.

"Your face is so red. Did you get sunburn?" She adds, making Chaeng laugh.

"Jisoo, I think she gets an illness call blushing. You know?" She says as Jisoo slams her arm slightly, and Lisa looks as me, making my cheeks burn more.

"Chaeng, don't try to tease her." She glares at her friend. "Okay, okay. I am just kidding." Chaeng raises her hands in defeat.

"Now, let's chill, okay?" Chaeng says as she goes to take some snacks and four bottles of coke. "Chaeng, bring one more." Lisa says and takes one bottle of coke and gives it to the helmsman.

"Thanks," He smiles at Lisa.

Living with her for nearly a month, I know that even her attitude is a little arrogant outside, but deep down in her heart, I know that she is a very kind and caring person.

We spend our time drinking, eating, laughing together on the boat until lunchtime. Then, we go back to our hotel and eat our lunch before we spend the remaining time with a dolphin in the water again. We swim and play with the dolphin, taking a lot of photos together. We even have a chance to kiss the dolphin, touching him affectionately as he returns our love by pouring the water towards us.

This is the most memorable thing that I will remember for the rest of my life. I've never felt this warm and happy that much since I was young. I didn't have many friends and a single sibling, but Jisoo has filled in every position I need. She is like my sister, mother and my best friend. I love her so much. Now, seeing her with Chaeng, I am very happy for her. Chaeng is such a caring and a little flirtatious person, but I can see that she is serious towards Jisoo. Anyway, I hope them for the best.

"What are you thinking?" I glance back to see Lisa sitting beside me.

"Don't you think Chaeng and Jisoo are looking good together?" I ask, smiling slightly, motioning to the two who are playing with the dolphin.

"Yes, they are." She grabs my hand in hers, looking straight to them, with a smile on her face.
